thread : handover phase 2

phase 2 clients will receive an email to this effect but please take note of the following:

handover block 5: week of 24 of March 2008

handover block 4: week of 31 of March 2008

handover block 3: week of 7 of April 2008

handover block 2: week of 14 of April 2008

handover block 1: week of 21 of April 2008

townhouses and 10 apartments in plot 22.2 - date to be confirmed

Notary dates have been booked. You may choose during that week the day of going to the Notary.

I have just read your posting about handover dates. Are people given a handover date then expected to drop everything and fly over on that date and pay without having seen their property? I imagine there must be some flexibility? There are many of us who can only take time off in school holidays, and it worries me that we will be given a handover date that we are unable to attend. Any thoughts, Oscar?

To be fair to Atlantia, a similar situation arose when Fase 1 was handed over, for those who were not in Spain on the handover period a mutually convenient date was arranged, I suggest that you contact the Atlantia sales office and inform them when you will be available and see what can be worked out.

 Obviously one of the criteria is booking a slot with the Notary in Cartagena. With so many properties to hand over it needs to be spread out anyway and you are the customer.

I suggest that you try and make arrangements soon after you arrive then if there is slippage the revised date/time may well still be within your stay. Remember that you will need to make payment arrangements so the monies can be paid at the Notary. Monies paid include the residue of the purchase price, the Notary fees and taxes, I am sure that youe agent/advisor will clarify the amount that you need.
