Hi
We put our deposit down off plan in 2006 and really looking forward to completion this year. We looked over the site in 2006 and revisited September 2007, saw the showhouse apartment which was really impressive. Also looked inside our apartment which was just before plaster finishing.
We would like to contact other people who have purchased a property on the Balcones de Iznalloz site. We are visiting the Property Show ExCel LONDON Saturday 8 March as Rudina are there selling for the site Balcones de Iznalloz. Hope to pick up some more information. If anyone is going, would be good to meet you.
Viv and Jeff Batten

Hi Woodycurtain,
I was working in London on Friday and called in at the Excel for 1 hour. I me Elli, Pepe and others from Rudina and Christine from Focus. They had alot of interest from visitors to the property show and were showing an updated DVD of the Balcones development that included pictures of the swimming pool area that now is fully tiled and appears that landscaping is now taking place. I look forward to seeing it during our visits during week commencing 24th March.
Re your question about info of importance, I understand they are now considering plans for the next stage of the development and it may not be exactly as the original plan, so bear that in mind!

Hi Raileng
Thanks for the info but very curious about what you said concerning the next stage. What made you thinks the original plan might change?? Hope the mountain views aren't going to completely disappear from view!
Enjoy your trip.

Did Rudina say anything more about completion date. Don't know about you guys but im getting jittery over the current UK interest rate being so poor. When is it going to improve? (money saving experts only need reply)

Hi woody,
I wouldn't worry too much re the present exchange rate unless you are changing funds now. I suggest you either take on a new Spanish mortgage or take over the Rudina mortgage and if you prefer, when the exchange rate is in our favour, pay off the Spanish mortgage with your own funds or funds from a British mortgage.

Thanks for reply, I've heard of this concept of taking over the developers mortgage. Does this save on some of the fees that a usual spanish mortgage incurs. I will have to look into this option. Any info you or anybody else has will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Woody
