Hello All,

Have just joined the forum today. Not 100pct up on this chat room stuff, so we will see how it goes. My wife and I bought a house on Peraleja last year, and are expecting delivery in June. We were over there two weeks ago and the development certainly seems to be coming on very well. The club house is excellent. Played the golf course and enjoyed it very much. It is certainly not an easy course, and when the rough grows in the summer, I am sure it will be even more tricky. But for sure it seems be be like the development, top quality.

Does any one know about the waste system then have installed? There seems to be spouts where you put your rubbish in and it goes into an underground system. Not sure how hygenic that will be.

Hi Erik,

Welcome to the forum.

We were in Peraleja a couple of weeks ago to do our snagging and were also very pleased with the development.

I think the waste system is going to be emptied by trucks.  I don't know how, maybe it sucks it up or something, I don't think it is going to be left underground.  I'll try and find out from Peraleja although they are busy at the minute so it might take a while to get a reply!

Regards.

Jill

This system is quite common and quite ingenius. The ground above is actually a hinged lid and opens like a trap door to reveal the bins - usually 3 of them - paper, plastic and general waste. A lorry simply comes along, the driver lifts the lid and hey presto - no more rubbish! And as it's all underground there's nothing to fly around in the street or to look generally unsightly.

Thanks. I must have a proper check out of them when i am back over. We are supposed to take delivery in June, but these habitation certificates seem to be delaying things a fair bit. Do you think it will be as bad by June / July or is it just early issues as the development is not on mains power and gas yet? Any word on when the commercial centre will open with a mini market?
