Hi,

Has anyone had any luck yet with connection of utilities on phase 4.  We were on HR early Feb and we seemed to have some water and electricity but the call centre informed us that these were the supplies for the builders.  I have emailed the call centre and received a 'not yet' but ...'continue to chase us' .... response.  Before I chase I just wondered if there was any part of the phase that has supplies already.

We are really happy with our apartment and cannot wait for our first stay which is planned for the end of April.

I remember reading on one of the threads that someone found engineer on site and got them round to their property. I think that you need bank accounts set up with details to pay first , I am sure you have that sorted by now though

We're on phase 4 (you may have seen my other posts about this) albhaca 1, building no 16,  and completed on 23 November with a plan to go back beginning February to install furniture etc.  Other people completing later than us were saying their utilities were on,  and yet our weren't and there was no explanation.  I actually called Iberdrola to see what was going on,  as they do have English speakers, and found out that 3 buildings on Phase 4 had not been signed off by the builders - somehow we'd fallen down a big black hole.  Anyway, I informed the PW customer service - and they jumped to attention, and it was all put on within 10 days - however if I hadn't called Iberdrola direct - I don't suppose it would have been picked up.

So we had to cancel our February trip, and are now going out on 15th March for a week.  Our furniture was installed earlier this week,  with detailed instructions from us,  and so we hope that all will be well when we arrive!

We've had money taken out of our bank now, as expected - and understand that the boiler has now been commissioned too.

Not sure how the tv connections work, and how you sign up for satellite - but no doubt all will become clear once we arrive.

we are on phase 2 -Jengibre .Also had problems with utilities!! Polaris say our electric meter is sorted and supply now to apartment, although not out till 24th March, so will find out then.

Gas still not sorted, even though I keep on to them around 3x a week.

Anyone know the telephone numbers for the Gas / Electric companies so I can give them a push in the direction of our apartment?? It would be a big help

Iberdrola has English speakers,  not sure about the others though.

Trust this helps.

Do you have key holder who can check on things for you before you arrive, and test electricity, water and gas?

Maggie, Paul& Jane & Dringman,

Many thanks for very helpful information.  Polite e-mails and calls to PW don't seem to be making a difference at the moment.  Phone numbers of suppliers are gratefully received.  No sign of any connections yet and no money gone from bank account to suppliers, but we still have a good number of weeks until our first visit.  We have a key holder so will ask them to check (good tip).
