Hi can some one tell me when the colour of the blinds from yellow to beige for blinds for the balcony was changed as i have just put up yellow as this was part of the package for the pent houses so in january david said we where going to stay with yellow blinds and now people are putting up beige just what is the colour so i will now stay with the yellow till i need to replace them as this is not my fault bye irene/peter

David i have ordered 2 more blinds for the side of the balcony in yellow and i still have the p /email you sent me with yellow on is this a wind up or what with the colour bye irene/peter

A sample of the correct colour is put op on the notice boards in each block a month ago. The yellow colour already installed by a few people in penthouses before the first meeting was rejected as it didn't look good. The only allowed colour is a sort of off white. I have seen one installed and it looks very good.

Hi i waited till january before i put my blinds up and i would not have put yellow blinds up with out davids ok in january when he visited me and we spoke about the air con and the blinds i will replace the colour when the blinds need replacing sorry for this,and we where not told that the blinds where being voted for the colour at the meeting .I would like at the next meeting for a list of things on the agenda so all of us can vote and for a early date so more people can be there thanks for your reply max irene/peter This message was last edited by irenemontague on 3/25/2008.

Sorry max i have an e/mail of david in december before i seen him in january saying the colour was yellow i would never have put up the wrong colour blinds with out this email never max bye irene

September meeting and why it wasn't put up on the notice boards earlier I really don't know. I guess the company who did that didn't expect much customers for awnings in the winter, but maybe there was a completely different reason.
All this kind of things are beyond my control and knowledge.

Hi i had a company called lumon.com to give me a price for the glassing for the balcony .They told me you need to put up your blinds as the track for the glass goes at the back of the blinds.The cost i got for a 2 bedroom apt ground floor was 7,000 euros for 1 balcony and to do both balconys was 9,600 euros but all apts wont be the same size so if anyone was thinking of doing this this is an average cost bye irene/peter This message was last edited by irenemontague on 3/26/2008.

Hi , Having attended the first meeting, signed in, although not listed as being there,( I did raise the matter with administration by e-mail and telephone and spoke to Max, to no avail)
the matter of blinds was spoken about and the colour as I remember from my notes was a shade of yellow, so how does the colour change, did I go to a different meeting?

Hi Ken,
As far as I know you never signed in to the first meeting in September. You have to do that at the beginning of the meeting to be formally registred as an attendant.
Who told you the colour was yellow?

Hii Max, At the first meeting it was discussed when it was pointed out there were fabric awnings installed in the penthouse, and if I remember correctly yourself or David stated they were inclusive with there apartment purchase
and in keeping the awnings on site would follow this trend and be of a yellow shade. I did not take precise notes only the colour that was stated.
So when and who decided the colour should be changed.

Hi Ken,
I have never known which colour was decided upon because at that point in the meeting I was discussing something else with the newly elected president.
My wife however was there as well and she is sure the decision was made that they would be definitely not be yellow (and she understands Spanish so could follow both discussions). The attending English agreed with Irma that it would defiitely not be yellow so the colour has never been changed.
I don't know about awnings being included with the penthouses so I won't have made a statement about it.
However I'm pretty sure that people who ordered the wrong colour can get a large discount on a change of the colour. Some neighbours already did change it and they reported that it was not very expensive.
