I agree Dan, From what I know if they were ready to hand over the property when the date for the second payment came, ie after the 90 days, they could have demanded payment then.

The only delay you could make would be to arrange to go over at the end of the period of completion that they offer you. For instance My time period is from June 16 until about July 16,  but I cant see them giving much leeway on this. After completion the connection of the water and electric can take between 30 and 60 days more and I dont think you will have access to the property for this period anyway, so you will not have to worry about furnishing the apartment untill then.

Hi all ,

I rang polaris today about my completion in june and this is the itinerary over two days.

Day 1, go to murcia to collect our NIE numbers ,from there go to Condado to generate the snag list, I assume someone from polaris will be on hand to open the apartment.

Day 2, go with my agent and SPANISH solicitor  to polaris world where there will be a notary and other polaris persons , hand over the snag list which I read somewhere must be in spanish, I think I will give a copy in english aswell,(keep a copy for yourself) then sign papers and hand over a bank draft for the outstanding amount.

After that I am not sure , I will be talking to my agent hopefully tomorrow to get some more insight.
