David , I take it block 38 is the block where the lifts are so for anyone who is at the top of those blocks will unfortunately look down onto the duplex appts so I agree with you that to have a whole host of dishes must be an eyesore, if they were to put one dish on the top of the atrium of each block opposite I take it that you would be able to still see that from where you are but at least as you say it would only be one dish not a load. Only one dish per block would be our choice !

Jayne

Totally agree Jayne, hopefully this will be resolved at the forthcoming Community meeting, though I am not holding my breath!

Let's just hope that those who think 'anything goes' get out-voted.

Those in the blocks with lifts would appear to have some advantage - CNN, BBC World and Sky News!  We don't get any English channels at all.

We are in a block with a lift but don't have these English channels - only sport 5 or something like that

I think that it depends on whether you are in Phase 1 or Phase 2.  Before we completed we stayed in apartments in both P1 & P2.  P1 only had an American soap channel in English, but the P2 apartments had 3 English channels, so it is not just the lift blocks, though I agree our apartment is in a lift block.

On completion, we are all given a blue A4 spiral bound book entitled "Vivienda .. construyendo bienestar" ("creating health and wellbeing" stated underneath  .. a bit of a misnomer judging by the amount of dissatisfaction expressed on the forums)!

Item 2.2 Telecommunications states:

"There are 3 precinct of telecommunications in Phase A, situated in the underground parking between block number 1 and 2, between block number 10 and 11 and also between block number 13 and 14.  There are 2 in Phase B situated between the paddle ball court and another in the basement between block number 32 and 33.  There is a site, between block 2 and block 4, designed for use as a telcoms room.  This room, known technically as "RITU" will have the elements needed to provide signals for the different television and radio broadcasting services, both terrestrial, digital and satellite, with the correct levels of quality, including the analogical channel LA SEXTA (whoo boys)!, 5 digital channels and 5 satellite channels that can be modified by the Community of Owners.  The RITU will serve all the homes through the distribution network.   The keys to these rooms will be at your disposal at the Administration Office of the Community of Owners".

It is also VERY WORTH NOTING that item 1.8 MAINTENANCE COSTS FOR THE HOUSING COMPLEX boldly states ...

"All the maintenance costs for the housing complex are being dealt with momentarily by KEYMARE SL.  You will shortly be called for the incorporation of the Community of Owners, which will from that moment take on these maintenance costs".  I leave you to summise your own conclusions from that but, like me, maybe you'll be asking one fairly obvious question?
