We have a Banco Halifax account in Spain and a Halifax account in UK. We transfer money over regularly for bills and spends. Transfers are free. Exchange rate for this today with this system was 123.9. this is the business rate. Also the name on the account must be the same in both the UK and Spain otherwise you will be charge. OH could get free transfers because his name is on both accounts but they would chage me because it's not a joint account in the UK.
