 Yes brilliant, my daughter alway's takes the mickey out of us.  When ever I quote anything she say's do not believe everything you read in the Daily Mail so it was quite funny. will have to send it to her.

I know EXACTLY what you mean... You know what you're reading probably isn't true, but you kind of absorb it anyway... And when they write, 'A close friend said' or 'A neighbour said' you know that person probably doesn't even exist. But still you can't help semi-believing it.

There's no point in picking any particular newspaper out; they are all slanted to meet the proprietors' take on events. The Times is a disgrace. Check out the correspondents / readers take. They are very carefully selected to reflect the newspaper's stance.
