The best one PR disatser was Viva advertising over 6000 properties for sale - well if they cant sell anything and have that many available, they must be c**p!

The other foot in it was the IN network. I had a guy supposedly desperate to sell his villa (villa-your having a larf it was a semi detached house i my book!) in Riviera del Sol. He had no idea of valueso IU tried to get a comparison.

Got the IN web up and there were 5 pages of the same property, exactly the same picture (from the developer) with prices ranging from 280,000  to over 500,000! For the same size property. I swear the whole development must have been back up for resale.

What a disaster!

Oh I know I do not get any strategy that proclaims 6,000 properties - that makes the market look even worse and you're right, makes the company look like they can't sell. Don't get me started on the 2% building blocks to represent their slash in commission that have obviously now gone. What makes me absolutely cringe is companies offering i-pod shuffles for viewing with them and free spa etc, do buyers not see straight through it. Surely it's the service that's more important???

Also from a buyer's perspective it's like looking through a jumble sale, they get totally confused....we have had clients that have been out with other agents just showing them loads of crap, one client viewed over 60 propeties before they met us and we showed them 2 and cause we listened to them, they bought!! The method works and everyone's happy.

The boys have gone quiet on us, it's girls afternoon in!
