I have read somewhere that PW called someone who is on Jardine 1 today regarding completion in August. Panicked me a bit but read also that they will probably start at Jardine one and work up as that appears to be the order they are finishing them in which is good as we are in Jardine 7. Would prefer late in the year or even ealy 2009 when flights are cheaper and it will also give us some idea of what the Winter weather is like...!

Hi Phil and Debbie - We have had a call and an email from PW today. The phone call said our apartment will be ready for completion from 22nd September to early October ! The email just confirmed it and also said they would contact us again next week to finalize a completion date. If it goes the way the Jardins did, we may be able to add a few more weeks but like you it's hell of a shock. As we posted on the main Condado site, we had already booked flights and accommodation to go over on September 11th to have a look. Can't cancel that now but may take advantage and try to get our NIE sorted.

Sept/Oct...............just opened a bottle, not sure whether to celebrate or to numb the brain as to how fast it's happening.
We are over in Mar Menor end of August and have arranged to go with PW to get our NIE's. Apparently it's a service they offer FOC so we are taking advantage of the free transport into Murcia and let them do the talking as my Spanish is very basic.
We had also planned to take a look at the show homes but by the sounds of it we may not need to.

You may not have to travel to Murcia, we had appt last Monday to have PW take us to Murcia for NIE pickup and we waited around HQ's for about half hour then we were taken into an office and handed our numbers there and then, they did say it was unusual but hey presto no trip to Murcia and no waiting around. Not sure if this was a one off or if they intend to do this on a regular basis because of amount that have been completing and also its very close to August which means most Offices shut down although PW are not closing at all.

Thanks for the info. I am catching a taxi to PW HQ so if they hand over the NIE's there, perhaps I could persuade them to take us to Condado to have a look at things.

Hi everybody
We are Simon and Olive from Kildare, Ireland (well Simon is from Guildford originally). We have bought in Jardin 4 Los Naranjos. We are a bit shocked about the possibility of completion in the next couple of months. Earlier we posted in the Condado Thread that we have not been contacted about any completion dates, we have not even paid second stage payment yet. So first thing tomorrow we will be contacting the Dublin office for Polaris to see what is happening.
However we are very excited, looking forward to some sun and golf and meeting our new neighbours.

We haven't been contacted yet either. Think we're going to wait for Polaris to get in touch. We're over in Spain at the end of September to arrange POA so we'll see what happens between now & then.
Very excited and very dazed by the speed of it all!

Hi Simon and Olive - Not sure if it makes any difference when you pay the second stage payment. We paid ours in June, we were expecting it to be July but they requested it in June which was 8 months after the first, and it will only be 3 months maybe 4 till the final payment? As Carol keeps saying, there's no manyana when it comes to them wanting their money. lol

Yes they did. To be honest, until we started looking at this forum we didn't even realise we needed one, we thought the receipt for the money was all we needed. When we found out about the guarantees, we contacted our solicitor and they had the guarantees, and sent us copies. They were dated about 2 months after we paid.

Hi Guys,
In a bit of shock after a phone call today from PW saying our completion date will be week commencing the 22nd Sept, provisionaly the 24th. The reason I'm in shock is that the Jardines style are well on there way with the Penthouses a bit behind. This is obvious due to the Penthouse show apartment not ready until next week.
Anyway I'm in Block 16 of the Penthouses!
I was fully expecting most, if not all the Jardines to complete before the Penthouses and was assuming a completion for our Block to be late November or into December. This was also based on the construction photos over the last few months, which showed our Block 16, further behind other Penthouse Blocks.
I'm also assuming there's a lot of other people that have been called and are currently in shock, hence not to many seem to have posted on the forum yet.

Migde - So glad someone else has heard from PW. If it wasn't for the fact that they followed up the telephone call with an email, I would have thought someone was having us on.
If you're in block 16 of the penthouses and we're in Jardin 7 apartments, it sounds as if they are starting the opposite end to what everyone thought they would.

Things are starting moving now. Wasn't in but Sue took a call today from Maria at PW and was told completion will be in October for our block 10 penthouse. Exact date to follow in 2 to 3 weeks!
i will be made redundant in September and I am retiring at the same time. Also the contract for our rented bungalow finishes October 28th!
Looks like it is all falling into place perfectly. Also my brother has volunteered to borrow a friends van and deliver my furniture from England - much cheaper option than buying all new with the current exchange rate!

I have just had a call from PW. They haven't got a date for my completion yet  but they did say that they have block bookings with the notary from Sep 22nd onwards and that all Naranjos apartments will complete between then and Xmas so to expect a call with the completion date in the next month or so.

My wife took a call today from PW to say they are looking for us to complete between Sept & Oct. We are Jardine 7 so it looks like they're moving fairly rapidly to finish completions by Christmas.
Now the panic begins..............................................

Wishing you all the best of luck with up and coming completions, try not to panic, I know easier said than done but it isnt as bad as you think and its all worth it, this time last month I was in a tizz and now I am so happy and looking forward to moving in to my wonderful new home next month

Hi All
We are in Naranjos Jardin 8. I have just had a phone call from Silvia in PW completions advising me that we are expected to complete end Sept beginning Oct.
As we are booked to come out 19 to 26 September I asked if it would be possible to complete that week, she said she will put us down for completion on 25 September.
I am 52 years old and at the moment feeling like a 12 year old waiting for Christmas day. Need to calm down now and think about all the things we need to sort out, I think reality is starting to kick in. now were did I put that medication.
