We completed in the summer and despite the pathetic efforts by MLH and Interlaken we are happy enough with our apartment and although we feel that they have not produced what was promised we accept that legally there is not a lot we can do.

We have met a few owners that generally feel pretty much as we do about the developers and we agreed that it would be in the owners future interests to get together with as many other owners as possible probably in the UK to stay together as a group to form an owners committee.

Part of the reason we feel this way is because at the moment the so called "community of owners" looking after our investment are following along the lines of MLH and ripping us off. ( i.e. Sky Tv and if this site was in the UK it would be considered dangerous and the HSE would be involved )

I urge as many owners as possible to send me there email address or telephone numbers if they prefer and along with some others that are already communicating away from this site we form a strong base with which to go forward and as owners start to make decisions for the site that ultimately we are paying for.

I believe that a comminty of owners can only be set-up after a certain % of the purchasers have completed. A community meeting should then be called and a president etc...... appointed etc....... we can then agree with the help of the administrator currently Amex, the required community fees to cover all required services i.e. insurance, security, gardeners, cleaners, maintenance etc..... 

Once the community of owners is set-up we can decide to keep the current administrators or ask them to leave and employ a new company........

I will attempt to find out from Amex the required % mentioned above and if possible ask when they expect the community of owners to be formed

Julian at Eye On Spain has almost finished our own CDS Website that everyone connected to the development can use for exactly that reason.

It will be our own website which will be password operated to enable us all to organise ourselves into a working group and bring together ALL the purchasers on CDS

It will be a great opportunity to organise ourselves and start to take control of OUR development.

Hopefully it will be available very soon, it may be worth e-mailing him to give him a gentle push!
