I have been looking at some of the other forums and it would appear that taxes and fees vary depending on the type of property you own and the region.
Could one of the HR owners who lives on the resort give me an idea of the monthly running costs associated with ownership including community fees, gas, electricity, water and any other local or regional expenses. For example do we pay the local authority for things like refuse collection or is this included with the community fees?
Apparently there are also some taxes associated with ownership payable to the local authority and an annual wealth tax (although I heard some provinces had abolished this).
I will get a detailed breakdown when I come over, but I am just after an estimate for now so I can set up a monthly transfer from the UK.
