I have just received the following e-mail from Rhodas 3 in response to my request for a copy of the Minutes of the meeting:
We are waiting for the bank account number to be included in the Minutes but
we haven't received yet the CIF number (legal number of the community).
Don't worry, when I have it I will send the copy by email

I have again contacted Rodas requesting minutes of meeting. Have been told today that the 2 Presidents are going to open the bank account on Tuesday. As soon as this has been done the minutes will be distributed by Rodas.

Sorry me again - I decided to ask Rodas for the draft minutes without bank account details as the meeting was held over two months ago etc. etc. and they have sent them to me so if anyone wants a copy pm me with your email address - haven't read them yet as supposed to be working.............

They've been sent to me via email from Rodas direct but thank you anyway for chasing them up.
What's the general feeling about the detail? I must admit I was hoping for a bit more info possibly re what rules and regs apply to the pool; possible supply and positioning of Satalite Dish. Perhaps these are items to be discussed at a later date?
Hope you're enjoying our late summer! - Yes, the sun is shining in Wales!!

Hi, Dil and Alan
Hope you're well and that the sun is shining on you in Wales! It's good to have the minutes at last! They seem reasonably comprehensive; we can agree the wording of the pool rules and regs before next season.
Andy's doing a watercolour pencil course at the Pencil museum here in Keswick tomorrow. I'm now deep into Nativity Plays, and about to introduce the delights of the Sans Day Carol to a class of disaffected eleven year old boys! What with Andy's colouring in, I don't know who's got the weirder job in our household!!!
When are you out next?
Love,
Donna

I was really surprised at the lack of content in the minutes. No record of any voting, who nominated who or how many votes were cast etc, how we ended up with two presidents? Which one is in charge, who has the last say on an issue. As the president is the person legally held accountable for the community how can there be two? I had hoped that some of these things would have become clear with the minutes being distributed but...So sorry to disagree Donna but comprehensive is one of the last words I would have used to describe the minutes. It most likely sounds like nit pickin but it's fine when everything is going well just wait till the 1st time there's a disagreement between our two presidents and one of them asks these questions to try and win a point. I just hope that everything continues to run smoothly or there could be an almighty mess and no clarity about who has the authority to take decisions or more importantly the responsibility for anything that goes wrong. Stuart.

Hi, yes I do have some sympathy with that, having experienced several eruptions when we were with a motorhome club we used to belong to. If we've got clear rules then there can be no misunderstandings. I'm sure none of us want to be bog'd down in rules and regs but also we don't want people dive bombing into the pool, or not being able to get into the pool for lilos and toys etc or finding glass around the pool, or late night poolside parties etc.
I know it's common sense stuff, but it's silly things like this that seem to cause the most offence and back-biting. Let's get the ground rules sorted and we can all enjoy. If either of the presidents read this, I would like to propose that a date be set when as many of us as possible can attend to put our ideas and suggestions to the committee, or, if this isn't possible, that we be asked to put our suggestions in writing or e-mail.
How does everyone else feel on this? Feel free to disagree - it's good to talk!
Hope you're all well out there.
Regards

I definitely agree that a meeting where we can talk about things, including the park opposite us, would be an excellent idea. Nothing beats face-to-face discussions, and then if we have disagreements or need to compromise, it can be as amicably as possible. I have heard of and read so many reports of communities being split/coming to blows/not speaking to each other that I'm desperate that this doesn't happen to us! Donna x PS Stuart- I take your point, but I did only say "reasonably" comprehensive!
