Shampers - I haven't worked out what PMSL is but back at yer - See, yours is just the sort of humour we love, told you before, I give you the voice of Peter Kay and I know what you look like, so you can't escape - Really disappointed we're not going to meet you this time, Martyn will hopefully be down there some time on the Saturday, to give one of the keys to Carol, but I think it may be earlier on in the day, so you probably won't be out of your pit, I mean bed (See! I can't even cross things out) Hope you have a great stay, we enjoyed it last weekend and we were only at the bar for one night. Give our best to Carol and the kids, they really are great, and if Ashleigh wears them crap catchers in public when you're there, try not to laugh out loud - Already one bucket of cold water waiting for me

Jackie - WTF U mean? Hi,
How is the golf course coming along. Is grass growing yet ? I was told that they use some sort of green compound on the course so it may look like grass but isn't ! Interested to know as it may be a long time before it's playable.

Hi Kev - You are right about the green compound but the grass is growing - When we were over there last week, we were told it should be playable by July - That may be a bit optimistic but who knows -- The practice area should be ready well before then, can't remember exactly -- Just looked at photos on the fotothis site and you can see some areas of the green compound and others of proper grass.

The late Peter Swales told the Man City groundsman to paint the bare patches of the pitch green as we were going to be on TV, unfortunately the groundsman was a bit colour blind and the green didn't match............ looked hilarious on TV tho 
Just hope the PW greensman doesn't make the same mistake

Finding this thread very informative!
Pic's on fotothis.com are really good. We didnt get to see the bar open when we were last over and there are plenty of pic's to show how good it looks, as well as the general sports area. Plus another batch of pic's for around Naranjos and the Penthouses and a few of the villa Jana's (which look really cute) Penthouses look good too now they are rendered and looking finished- great views from them. Useful also because some shots show the distance of the Penthouses from the Naranjos-jardines and they dont look quite so looming over them as they do from the entrance roads- and thats worth seeing in case Polaris decide to build some of those at the rear of the Jardines.
As our eldest son has already 'booked' a holiday over in our apartment in February its good to be able to show him whats on site and how its looking- and it all looks excellent. Roll on October when we are over and can try out the bar for ourselves..

So glad I opened up this thread - it attracts everyone who wants to talk about anything! It also seems to be the foreign language thread but it isn't one I am familiar with. Think I'll have to take a look at that dictionary!
