If you feel that you can assist those likely to lose their money, without a cost to the people, why can you mention it on an open forum, which is what a forum is for.

Is this the swap your deposit to another property and then we will claim back your deposit in the admin process ? if so I have chaecked out their website and did not feel comfortable all was above board.

no doubt it is the option offered by the likes of jonathan ex san jose about promoting other properties for a transfer of deposit. Sounds good till you see the price of the properties. Just another scam for owners which should be avoided Still darren have to admire you..you never waste an opportunity to try and make money.

Joannie, I am in Spain, I am now a chef because i not only lost my house at Jumilla but also a business opportunity I tried my hardest to set up. I am happily working at a Lobster restaurant in Playa Flamenca which I really enjoy and before you come back with it, yep its fishy business also. What i can't see you doing is getting of your own fat A*ss to help anyone else so please keep your comments to yourself unless its something positive.

Yes I have been offered an opportunity to get myself out of this hole and if i can help a few along the way, continue to shoot me down coz your talking to a face that really isn't bothered. and before you ask, no it's not business i'm involved in or am getting paid for as it has conflict of interest with my current employer and the tax office here in Spain.

Darren, it is unforyunate that you lost so much, and for that I express my sympathy (althought not sought), however, as your business was property related and if I am not mistaken, targetted SADM, surely you more than may should realise that doubts will be around when you post a one or two liner, which certainly appears it could be a marketing tool, touting for business.
I would imagine that now more than ever, people want clarity before getting involved in something.
If it is not your business, nor are you getting financial reward, and you think it could help purchasers, why not shout it from the rooftops on here?

Hi Darren not sure what all this is but it sounds a bit dodgy ,perhaps you could clarify a little these kind of cloak and dagger postings worry people  as all are paranoid about getting "done over " again . Might be best to explain as much as is possible without getting into trouble with your employer or the Spanish tax man .It may restore members faith in your intentions ecpecially if as claimed you were once  an SJ agent  .  Cheers JA

As far as I'm aware he has no hidden agenda, and never has had ! He has always made sense with his postings !

Correct me if I'm wrong Darren, but, the business opportunity that you have now lost, was to run a property management company at SADM, is that not true ?

You would have been an important member of the community there, looking after the properties that people were purchasing for investment purposes, for renting out, key holder, cleaning etc etc.

Now your "Dream" is shattered like the rest of us........and then some !!

Still.......the fella that you are, I think you'll succeed at whatever you do........regardless of what people think out loud !!

Hi All

Many people on this forum hide behind names such as Friend in Need (not trying to pick on you FIN, but you were the first name I saw scrolling down where there is no indication who you are!).  Darren & Michelle don't, and we have met them so know their background.  Like many of us, they bought at SADM and planned to live there, hoping to make their living (as they aren't old enough to be living on pensions!) in Property Management at SADM.  They gave up everything to move to Spain and live their dream.  

I hoped to be living in SADM too and getting clients (I am a complementary therapist) but being ancient (over 60!) didn't have to rely on that for my income.  All respect to Darren for getting a job, even if it wasn't what he hoped to be doing.  He isn't a loser, and he is obviously trying to help other people who are in a similar predicament.  I am sure that if you want to know more and pm him, he will be frank with you.  There are rules on the forum, which mean you can't post certain information.  (I could say that I am living in Jumilla and am a qualified Reflexologist, Bowen therapist, Indian Head Massage therapist and Chair massage therapist, and give you further details, as it would be good to have some clients, but suspect it won't be allowed!  PM me if you want to know more!!!)  Let's not knock Darren, as he is only trying to make the best of a bad situation.

Firstly regarding Darren, I have expressed my thoughts regarding his losses and that is it. I asked questions and think they were justifiable. If someone makes a post, aimed at those suffering, to pm them without an explanation, what would one expect.
Just the same as in UK, loan sharks advertise to work wonders, just ring the 0800 or mobile number.
Who is it on here that has been knocking Darren?
Regarding who I am, there are people on this forum who know who I am, as I have never hidden that, when asked and when considered a worthwhile reason for asking.
One forum rule states "DON'T REQUEST MEMBERS DETAILS " now someone says "where there is no indication who you are". Are you asking, if so, is not that against forum rules.
You may have met Darren and found him to be completely honourable and trustworty, in addition to helpfull, which he may well be. 
This is not a criticism of Darren in any way, nor comparing, but many on here found their sales agents and developer's staff to be friendly, honourable and helpfull when they met them. 
Shouldn't one ask questions when maybe you are offered a miracle cure, with no explanation or indication, just a request to PM someone.
If you see no harm in such a thing. You are advised to be very carefull in life and not just when buying a property in Spain

I have said my piece, now just hope that all who get in touch with Darren will find that he can offer the miracle cure they seek.
I am certain that even Darren would advise on "blind" requests for PM, as he will be aware what details people give are often used for marketing, especially to the vulnerable. Again, not a slur on Darren, no any claims against or accusations, (do know how touchy on here some can be) but as he was setting up a business, he will be aware of marketing techniques.

Good points, and of course I'm not asking you to give personal details that you don't want to provide.  As I said, you were an example of somebody who could be anybody as you are only known as FriendinNeed, though of course my real identity could be totally different from the name that I give on the forum!  

My point was that I know who Darren is having met him, and that he was hoping to live in Jumilla and run a business in Property Management - though I don't know him well enough to give him a job reference!  I was also giving a reason for him not putting full details on the forum.  He has been a member of the forum for a while and even if you don't know him, no doubt you have read his posts.  Hopefully we are all intelligent enough to make up our own minds about any opportunities and I doubt whether anybody who bought on SADM will believe in miracles any more or go into anything with their eyes closed, but your advice is sound.

I could really do with one of your head massages right now all this is doing my head in .I have always found Darrens posts to be considered and genuinely helpful.Must say I was intrigued today as to what info he had almost PM him to ask for details then reminded myself that none of us really know anything about anyone who posts except people we knew previously before all this or people we have become close to because of all of this.
I have heard that SJ , Almu etc log on to many of the sites this one and the shareholders  regularly .Who knows Justin will know from e mail addresses etc and Ana who runs the other site has said before SJ log on her site often.Wont stop me saying what I think about SJ but like Darren there are things I don't post on the general forum or even tell in PMs .Unfortunately we really don't know who is reading or posting and as we have learned  the hard way not everyone in this world can be trusted.
It is a fact that when there is real news coming through from lawyers etc that is when the forums are quiet  like now , when there is no news they are busy .Speaks for it's self really  but it is a shame .
Back to Darren I take my hat if to him getting a job and trying to continue his dream (not easy to get any job right now ) just feel it was unlike him to post so cryptically giving no hint of what he had to offer.Hope what he has can help some of us and is 100% safe I think there are a lot of people on here who could not handle  anymore disappointment.
I for one don't want  to try anymore maybe schemes and am only following the all be it expensive legal route.Luckily I have a persistent ,pestering ,pain in the neck lawyer ,well at least SJ think so (Good !).Hope we all get something back soon  .JA

Thank you, although I'm sure not needed to those who have responded in either question or defence. I know what i posted may have questions being asked and i will offer this not in defence but in understanding hopefully

i have been offered an opportuntiy against what I have deposited, thus the reason why i mentioned in thr original post 'if you have a villa', if you do, you are in a very similar position to me financially and expectanly (if that is a word). i cannot help everyone, i am sorry for that, I wish i could, i am not, and never have been an agent for SJG, n and again sorry but it seems to be the word of the day to associate someone that is trying to be good an associate of SJG. In my case, further from the truth, as many will say, yes i look after No.1, who wouldn't, but if i can(and will continue to do so) help others along the way, and I will regardless of criticism or swipes at my intentions financial, friendship or business.

FiN, I do respect your comments and sentiments, in recent months I openly admit that i respect your honesty and questioning, and will continue to do so, but please also remember you did ask me to keep information private between us that we shared on PM and I have adheered to, and will continue to......that is what trust is all about and hopefully over the 4yrs i've been posting, not you, but all may respect slightly what I have to say or my intentions.................and what I am saying on this ocassion i cannot divulge to all and give hope where i cannot deliver. 

I have taken a diverse route of employment, needs must, some will find that amusing as in i have failed, but as i said before, i am in Spain, needs must if i want what i longed for to become fruition......follow your dreams ok. if i am wrong in what I am doing, i take on your comments and advice, but please don't throw scorn without knowledge...for example, garcia has posted about visiting a website and doesn't trust what he/she has seen without any form of consultation or information on what i share, but will lead people into thinking they have an answer to my 'cloak and dagger'. has he / she PM'd me....no, but i would be interested in what he/she has to offer regarding a 'switch' solution....all options are open this end for some result, like many, and yes i will share some personal stuff, I for one cannot afford to lose 94,000.00, regardless of if i look for a business opportunity or not. There said it.

So, say what you like, think what you like...............I now have to fight day to day for what i have and what i want and will continue to do so, if i can help one or two along the way without an agenda, i will continue to.
