After reading a thread regarding electricity bill etc, I emailed Helder who is away, so Jose was in charge at customer services,we asked were we off builders supply, and he confirmed that phase 1 was,  The bank informed me that the electricity has been taken out of our account but not how much, I am still waiting on that, the bank said water bills have not been taken out.

could somone tell us how we recieve a bill or how we check what our bill will be,we don,t know how often they take them out, or how they work it out, as we have not been there since beginning of last August. do we all have the same water bill, and does anyone know approx what these are, Parador are not replying. How do other owners who don't live there manage it.and has there been a commuity set up for phase 1 if so does anyone have any details please, we would appreciate any info.

also asked when the pool and facilities will be ready, and he said after this Summer, does that mean after September 2009, we thought we would have the use of it this summer,

Hi Joan

The electricity is taken out of your bank account every 2 months. You do need to check that this is being done as otherwise they will cut you off in Spain. There is a standing charge & then whatever you use in those 2 months. We haven't managed to pick up a bill from the post office in San Javier, but have managed to get online on the Iberdrola site.

You will need your customer number for this (which can be found on the electricity contract which you will have picked up from the Taray offices along with your LFO etc) & also your NIE number.

The water is still on builders supply so we have receieved no bills as yet.

The committees are being set up by Manzana as oppsoed to one committee for the whole site (which is different to the info probably given to you when you purchased). If you are on Manzana 1 or 2 the committees have not been set up yet as we were told that not enough properties had been completed.

Hope this helps.

We completed last Friday on our Manzana 4 Quad (well hope we have anyway as currently waiting confirmation from our lawyer!) One of the things I've e-mailed her about is next steps e.g she has our bank account details but hasn't yet advised on setting up required direct debits.  Is it usual for Taray to advise us via the lawyer (who we paid the utilities management connection fee to) of the necessary details?  I just don't know if we're jumping the gun or whether we need to be proactive.

Also, can anyone help re:building and contents insurance?
