Penthouse completion

Hi Everyone,

                      This is our first post on this site so please be gentle. We have purchased a penthouse in Condado, Block 7, apartment P737 and have just been informed that habitation certificates have been issued and date set for 16 March. We are looking to rent an apartment for 5 nights from Sunday night 15th March and are flying back on Friday 20th. So if anyone can help please PM us.

Thanks to everyone for your input into this website, as it has been invaluable over the last 12 months and as a direct result we have had no unexpected issues cropping up. We are really looking forward to meeting and getting to know you all.  You all seem to be a pretty positive bunch.

Hi to all penthouse people now completing. We need more neighbours! We completed in December in block 11 and used the penthouse for the first time last week. The views are unbelievable at sunset. The penthouse exceeded our expectations massively and is a wonderful addition to our lifestyle. In the years to come Condado is going to become a wonderful place to be.

Just a little advice that caught us out when you complete and do the very important snagging visit. Take a torch as you will have no lighting in the penthouse and that is especially important in the bathroom which has no external windows. It wasn't until I was taking a nice hot shower (hot water system fantastic by the way) when I noticed a cracked tile in the bath area at head height. Too late to raise this as a snag! The cement residue on the patios is also an issue. Having looked down on the surrounding patios last week, most have excess cement residue and will need a good clean. Don't let Polaris fob you off with this trying to lay the responsibility for cleaning with you.

Don't read this as a negative, Polaris have been fantastic with us, but just go prepared and don't take any crap.

Hi everyone,

                   Thanks to everyone who replied with offers of accomodation for our completion 15th / 20th March. We are now sorted out and are looking forward to finally putting pen to paper and starting the shopping expedition. I am on vitamin supplements to build up my stamina and Carol has been practising her shopping skills in the sales. (She doesn't really need the practice but any excuse will do). We hope to meet up with anyone who is around for a few drinks in the surgery after the daily expeditions, I'm sure I will be ready for a glass or three.
