County Association of Alhama

Hello

I have just had an e-mail with the subject heading "County Association of Alhama". As we only completed a few days ago, I'm not sure what this letter is about. From the wording it seems to refer to a association looking at addressing the community fees.

Can anyone let me know what this is about and who it is from. If it helps, I have pasted it below.

Dear owners: From February 20 (day of reunion in the community), a group of people, we have created partnerships County Alhama. Since then the number of people who contact us, send us suggestions, etc, has not stopped growing.
Within this partnership has been formed Alhama County commission which coordinates and reports on the steps taken.
1 .- We have delivered a letter of 4 folios to Polaris, where he designed a set of requests.
2 .- We are dealing with the administrator to conduct a restructuring of services and costs. This will enable our community to pay fees are much lower than initially planned on February 20.
In short you will have news of the letter to Polaris and the progress made in negotiations with the Administrator.
For every time we have more strength to Polaris and the Administrator, to defend our common interests, we need the number of people contacting us is growing and that every time we get together.
If you have any suggestions, we are at your disposal.

We've just had the same e-mail. Any info gratefully received. Agree that there is aneed to challenge but who has appointed this 'association' on our behalf and what is their expectation in terms of renumeration etc?

Got the same email this afternoon, strange it didn't say who the email was sent to as there were no names in the 'To' part of the email address.

Thought it was from Sergio, the Venezualen guy, who we registered our email address with as he was looking into these matters but his email address is asocondadodealhama@yahoo.com very similar so not sure.

Could it be a con ? trying, at some point  to get money of us unsuspecting owners.

We certainly havr NOT given any autherisation to set up a committee on our behalf

We've not had the email yet but I wondered if it was maybe some of the owners residents that have sent it as the English reads like they have used a translate programme.

I'm hoping it is something to do with the spanish owners are use to dealing with this kind of residence issues as it will be much easier for them to understand the system and challenge some of the thinks in the budget. 

Does it say somewhere else they are looking for money - I couldn't see what you were refering to in the first posting that might be a con?

We too have received this email.

As far as i can see Nowhere does it say anything about requesting money.

We have also received the same e-mail. Doesn't actually ask for anything, just a bit of an introduction, doesn't make any sense, not sure who they are.  Gave our address to Sergio just this week so might be him?  As long as no-one is asking for money, that's the main thing! 

i am guessing its sergio.i did say a couple of weeks ago that it is good news we have so many spaniards on condado because they will not over pay for any services and will fight the suggested community fees on our behalf if overpriced..it looks like it has started .i am certainly sending them my support .

im guessing they got the email addies from polaris .guys this is spain-lol-different rules get used to it.

i have emailed the call centre at polaris and will  let you know what they say about who is behind it.

We've had this e-mail as well and also gave our e-mail address to sergio. Hope it is him, if it is it looks like he's on a mission already.

We are keen to support anything that will make the community fees lower and didn't mean to throw a spanner in the works with the renumeration comment.

We haven't given our e-mail addy to Sergio so don't know how we got the e-mail. If it's him all well and good as everything suggests he's a good guy to have in our corner. Just a bit confused right now..........

I read this thread with interest earlier and then went to see Sergio, and i can inform you it did not come from him.

Any mail from him would bear his name at the bottom.

Since starting this thread, it seems everyone is still none the wiser where the e-mail come from. As I only completed on Thursday, the only people that has my details would be Polaris and the Notory. I personally can't see PW giving out details to someone who is fighting their fees and the Notory would have no interest in this.

I would still be interested in the answer to this as I guess we all would.

i have now had a further email from them re my heated pool suggestion.at least some one thinks its a good idea!obviously the english isnt the best but how many english speak as good spanish as they speak english?not sure who her is but im guessing victoria

It will keep you informed of everything.
Now we need many e-mails to her lobbying Polaris, if you know the new owners tell us your address and also keeps you informed about them.
So far the requests immediate Polaris focus on construction of the forum as soon as possible, the golf course and golf club house. But it is a good suggestion.
Lease you Annexes II and III of the Statutes of urban entity that tomorrow pasdaré them all. These statutes are harmful to us and we must respond.

Just received a further email.

This one contains a word document to partition Murcia council to adopt the external grassed area maintainance, irrigation and cleaning.

It appears that PW somehow forgot to mention to everyone that in order for this to happen owners have to partition the Town Hall by 20th March. If sucessful this would wipe out 94.716 euro for cleaning services and 154,280 euro on irrigation.

I do remember that our solicitor told us at completion that the outer area would be maintained by Murcia council. It appears that unlike in the UK where after completion of a building projct the council automatically adopt the roads etc. In Spain you have to request this to happen.

Also, as an association so that we have on record, the number of claims have been filed, it would be once sent us an email forward in telling us: Name, landlord No xxx has appeared on today written allegations to the status of the entity Urbanistica Condado de Alhama.

How are we going to get something to the town hall by March 20th? if someone has the time could they look into this, ie what we have to do/sign and where to send it to?

Also received this e-mail at one minute past midnight last night. Obviously, someone is putting the time & effort into what should have been done by the present administrators of development (RPM). I am assuming that this is an independent group of Spanish residents who have taken up the challenge of getting the finances organisd and apportioned properly. God only knows what RPM have been doing while they have sat in the seat and sanctioned every charge imaginable that Polaris have handed over. What property management company does not question individual aspects a budget it is taking on ? - it appears RPM do not.

From what I can see here, all of us that are party to these communications need to print off the word document (Spanish version), sign it with our own individual location adresses on Condado and get it sent recorded delivery to Murcia council offices in Spain to ensure that as many people as possible are letting them know that we know we should not be paying for certain aspects of the Condado community fees.

Anyone know the correct address that we should be using ??

im guessing these guys are on the case.believe me if the spaniars dont want to pay for something they wont.polaris are pulling a fast one and victoria and rpm should have fought this.we should throw them out asap.

im cancelling my comm  charge dd till this is sorted.dont trust rpm one but after reading this-its scandalous
