Hello everyone on Condado forum.  We are new to this forum.  Have bought on Block 1 Los Naranjos - penhouses.  We completed 10th Feb  - our Solicitors had power of attorney.  We have not heard a dicky bird from our Solicitors or Polaris about electricity, water, tax, community fees etc.  Having a few sleepless nights.  Has anyone got a good fiscal manager.  The finance world leaves me in a muddle - being a staff nurse and used to wiping up various bodily functions. I have sent Sergio our e-mail address but have not heard anything from him.  I have also sent two other private e-mails to people but have not heard from them.  Either I am doing something wrong or Eye on Spain do not reveal our e-mail address for people to reply.  

We hope to come out in June for 5 days to get a ketholder etc and get advice on where to buy our furniture.  We were going to get everything separate ie white goods from Carrefour - linien from Yorkshire Linen Mill and look at furniture in DFS.   We found Murcia Furniture expensive and Polaris Homestyle gave us a huge laugh.  

Hope to hear from someone.  To everyone fighting our corner - well done!

It's me again Jane Price - had a message via Eye on Spain from Graham 204.  Thanks.  Also had an e-mail explaining we have to make 10 posts before we can receive or send messages.  Don't really want to waste time twittering on about rubbish but we were out in Feb - didn't want to come home - love the place.

Still watching the forum on a regular basis just not posting as much as I am in Spain as much as I can be!!!!  cheap flights allowing.....  so far good old Ryanair I say !!!!

Regards previous post relating to Statutes and council Paying for exterior maintenance i have examinined the proposed Budget (From original meeting) and for your information provide the following to help you decide if you should appeal to the Mayor regarding the Statutes before the FRIDAY deadline.

From the Budget

External Road Cleaning = 94,716

Waste Colloection = 127,015

Gardening Exterior = 466,320

Watering Exterior Gardens = 154,280

Total of 842,331.00€ /year (does not include street lights which i can not identify in budget.)

Current budget 3.907,581.60€ = 108€ average per property

Exterior removed (Excluding streetlights) = 2.947.324.10  = average 81.80€ / per property

Sums assumes 3000 properties

So therefore we must appeal to the council before the Friday deadline by one means or another and if successfull then we have knocked at least 20% off the budget, then we can work on the other costs with less haste, and via the appointed Presidents etc.

We can expect to pay Alhama Council 150-200€ per year as Council Tax which is due in May.

Jane here again in Cardiff.  Having lots of messages via Eye on Spain.  Someone called Skell has sent a message about renting on penthouses as we hope to come out in June for about 5 days.  Thanks for that.    I did mention that I've noticed rather a lot of footy fans out there.  Do we reveal who our club is and that Jeremy works there in the Executive boxes and if any Man Utd fan or Spurs fan or Liverpool fan felt they needed a change of direction  we maybe  able  to help with a ticket.  Here is a little clue I think we are going out of the FA Cup tonight to Hull.  Hey Ho.

Thanks for all that info Sonatigh. I've queried the council tax on another thread as our Solicitors have just asked if we have had a bill yet from the Council. We are not over till Easter so dont know if there's a bill in our post box.

As for the letter to the Mayor we have sent our info to Sergio- but have had no response from him. Whilst appreciating he's a busy man these days we were just a tad concerned about sending this info  via email to an unknown recipient.

As for Sergio if you sent your details to him on asocondadodealhama@yahoo.com then that is him. I believe he will respond to all after he has delivered the Appeal and will also info us of any other developments.

I understand your concern giving out details but this was the quickest means.

Yes I know him and see him most days.

He is doing a lot of running around and studying of various documentation and meeting people like councellors etc.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused now. I thought Sergio (customer services) and Sergio (resident) was one and the same person. Am I wrong in thinking this?

A lot people have said this, Sergio is a resident on Jardin 1 and there is also a Sergio in Custumer Services, not the same person!

This might help, Sergio from the community meeting that worked for Polaris World has been fired, we went to talk to him the other day and he is gone,

so we just have resident Sergio left..
