New restaurants in Al Kasar

 Hi, can anyone say when the new tapas and pizza restaurants are gonna be opening please? Thanks. Geoff.  

We were out in CdA last week and told by PW that an Italian and Rice restaurant would be opening in October

Thats disapointing, I was out last week and looked through the window, it looks almost finished! Was hoping it may be sooner as I am out again at the end of next month.

Still the Clover did start to serve food last Wednesday.

We were told Sept 1st opening last week. Basically, believe it when the doors open and they welcome you in !

Cant see it opening in the next 2 weeks

I think someone may have posted a picture of it on here.  There is no explanation for what the photo is, just tables set up and ready to use.  Doesn't look like the Clover, but who knows.

I think Helen may be refering to the photo posted on the 30th July.

However that is a photo of the restaurant nearby which is in a cave. Not the new restaurant in Al Kasar. I did email Polaris yesterday and ask when its opening, but they informed me that they didnt have a date as yet. They should have rushed to open it before summer, I was at la torre last week on a monday night went into the italian at 7.30pm and couldnt get a table til 10.30pm!

I am guessing late September early October, but they will have missed all the summer business by then.

out in cda at the moment, and the restaurant has tables outside and looks almost ready for opening lighting in decorated etc we have been told in sales office within maybe 1 week.  So maybe we will get chance to experience it prior to leaving on 28th August.
