Property purchase in SDR

Hi

My wife and I recently visited SDR and are seriously considering purchasing a property there. Just wondering from anyone's experience, are there any issues or concerns that we should be aware of. It appears to be an idyllic setting, is this the case?

Are you planning on living there permanently? I rent a townhouse there and rentals can be a bit slow. The area is lovely though, and it's a peaceful development.

i own a town house on sdr and i come to it about every month i think its a great plase to be their are a lot of propertys for sale and not all of them have signs up i know of at least 2 so rent for a while and ask around their are some real bargains to be had but be very careful
