As there are people who still wish to ignore this and go ahead anyway, please be aware of the following.
Should you get the dish installed the community is within their rights to demand that you remove the dish as there is no permission for it.
Should you still wish to go ahead please check that your installer is suitably qualified and carries the relevant insurance. Should the installer not be suitably qualified and damage any of the connections to other apartments you will be held responsible for this.
If the installer is not suitably insured and damages the building this could not only effect our community insurance but it also relieves Key Mare of any responsibility for repairs that may already be needing attention in the vicinity and effects the Builders Warranty for all of us. Also if the installer is without Public Liability insurance should the dish fall and hit somebody this could offer severe consequences as it belongs to you and has been installed without permission.
It is also a rule that NO signs i.e. "To Let" "For Sale" etc are allowed on the complex. Again if you are not there to remove these the community is within their rights to get them removed and we will do so. Signs are particularly noticeable on the inside of the complex overlooking the pool and gardens so please don't waste time putting them up.
BBQ's are also definately strictly prohibited. This is not only from a health and safety point of view but it is written into the "Horizontal Law". This is something that can't be changed and is a legal stipulation. Therefore this could maybe make any community insurance or personal insurance null and void should there be a fire or any other damage.
These rules are not there to make everybody's life a misery they are there to try and make everybody's time in Spain as pleasurable as possible. We know we can't please everybody all of the time but the rules are there to stop any confusion and are in the best interest of all residents.
Should you be unclear on any of the Community Rules please contact Fincadelia who will forward you a copy. Or if you need any further information or have any issues requiring attention please don't hesitate to contact them or myself.
Kind Regards
Helen Morris
Community President
