Restaurant

Don't suppose anyone has heard any dates on this yet? coming out on 24th and hoping to have somewhere to eat. Also does anyone know what menu the Clover has and if it is edible? THanks

Just got back after 2 weeks of the most wonderful weather!  Went to the Clover one evening and spoke to a couple who have eaten there - according to them 'not to be recommended'.  Apparently there is no cook and everything is heated in the microwave - but go for it if you feel lucky, after all it is the 'Clover'!

Clover has the following snacks, Burger, Pork Pies, Scotch Pies, Lasange, toasted sandwiches, chips and a few other things. After 2 hours of happy hour the 2 scotch pies I ate tasted great! and only 2.50 Euro each. However it is all microwaved food, ok for a snack, but probably not sufficient for your evening meal.

There is also quite an extensive desert menu, surprisingly enough

Aparantly the menu will get better once the restaurant next door opens.

Why will the menu get better once there is a restuarant next door????

Competion or will they be sharing the same kitchen ?

Scapa, yes I was told they will be sharing the kitchen. So probably be Pizza's etc availible

I wouldn't thought that was a bad idea actually.  PW saving costs on another kitchen, staff etc.

Such a shame the restuarant won't be open this coming week   I'm going to have to wait now until New Year to see all this happening. 

Not complaining , can't wait for Friday  

We ate in the clover a few weeks ago interesting experience

My wifes Lasagne was hot but bland and crying out for seasoning and/or parmesan on top - my penne pasta was stone cold and "ice crunchy" straight from the freezer- my spanish is limited but I know enough to request "mucho caliente" at the bar - it came back a few minutes later radioactively heated !
