For anyone who has been asleep, or not paying attention, Ryanair has some genuinely cheap flights on offer for a very short period. Just booked 2 returns Liverpool - Alicante for £20 + booking fee [ unavoidable ]
I think they are trying to wind up the Beeb after last nights groundbreaking documentary [ not ].
Something about gift horse and mouth. Take advantage, and get some winter sun, whilst it lasts.

I wish we could get flights that cheap FFS... over in Ireland. You guys are spoiled with different airlines flying into Alicante and Murcia where we are just stuck with 2, Aer lingus and Ryanair who can charge whatever they want as there is no real competition here. Boo Hoo

Are people looking at mid week dates for these good offers. We've had a look and found a couple of near weekend dates at £20 sometimes with and sometimes without taxes but in general Sunday prices have been more standard

We've just managed to get two return flights for £40- including all taxes etc on Ryanair LTN-MJV for December 5th - 9th... Yeah I'd much rather Easyjet but I'll put up with Ruyanair for those prices.

Just to say that I have applied for an Electron Card from Abbey National which was completly painless and will be sent in 4-5 days. They have been inundated with applications for the cards just for travel with Ryanair! we also have got flights for less than £50 each return (Bristol - Murcia Easyjet) but thats for next year.

Couldn't agree more. I scan Ryanairs offers on a regular basis and spotted the deals on offer for december. Am flying myself and my mum and dad over for 90 quid return all in from East Mids to Alicante. I find all the nonsense about Ryanair to be a bit annoying. Yes they are arrogant and expensive for sandwiches. But on all the occasions i have used them and it must be over 30 now, they have never been late, have always been cheaper and if you play the game with them you can avoid all the "hidden costs". Frankly without them i couldn't afford to use the apartment as often as I do now. At the end of the day its all about cost. I consider there service to be nore than a means to an end, its only a couple of hours after all.

we are constantly getting great deals out of ireland if not from ryanair than from aer lingus. we flew with aer lingus high season in august for 115e each return - great value. we are flying out in december for sixty euro return for two with ryanair. this will be our fifth trip to condado this year and if we were not getting such value we probably would not have made as many trips.

I'm not disputing the fact that 115E return is cheap...but compared to what our friends accross the water pay, it is more expensive to travel from Eire.
In regards of 60 blips return in Dec, I would've been straight onto that one except for the small matter of having no hols left this year from work as I mentioned in an earlier post.....Enjoy your last break of this yr....have fun and stick a cold one on hold for us in the Clover for our next visit while we trudge through the rain, wind, ice or even snow....who knows back home!!
Have a Gud'n

The only problem with using electron means that you have no protection should anything happen to the airline. Although we all know it is unlikely, in this climate its not impossible. I would rather pay the booking fees and use my credit card, then at least I have peace of mind.

Hi Kelly V
I have recently booked 2 x return flights at £15.98 inc everything Liverpool - Murcia. Many on here are expunging offers of £40 return. Surely after you have paid insurances etc for credit card, in the long term it will be cheaper to book direct with Ryanair using electon or their own card??
After all if they go bust (unlikely but not impossible), you will only lose your airfare (£40 or less perhaps) once. Prior to that (if it ever happens), you will have had loads of cheap flights.
