jack???

just had a look on the nicklaus design site and it doesnt look like jack will be doing the grand opening as the rumours went,

it states that he will be in mexico on the 16th of november to open another signature course, nothing mentioned about condado,

ah well maybe tomorrow jack

See if you can find the name of the course, get some photo's and post us all a link. I (and probably quite a few others)would be very interested to see the condition of the 'off fairway' areas.

just got this back from an email i sent to nicklaus design, they might have the date wrong but it doesnt look like the main man will be there this year.

Dear Anthony,

as it stands for the moment, we are anticipating for the Alhama Course
to be opened by Polaris World at the start of December, 2009.

However, I have copied Mr. Antonio Solano and he might be able to give
you more details.

For this year, Jack is not scheduled to make another visit to Alhama.

Sorry to disapoint Ant......but Jack is playing with me that day.....along with Arnie & Tom.....somewhere in Meixco.    We were considering playing on Condado, but with the place still looking a little rough around the edges we thought we would pop back next Spring - the restaurant might be open then too....?
