Hi
We are over on Sat for a couple of weeks and wondering what the weather is like at the moment..? Also are the pools too cold to swim in or are they still okay for the kids..?

Hi,
We are just back from a great week at CdA. Weather was around 30c and sunny all week, pool was cool, but didn't stop us using it every day and once you were in it was fine!

I agree! We were there for two weeks and after 2 days thunder and lightning the sun came out and never went! We, too, used the pool every day. Once you're in the water's lovely!!!!

There was a posting a far while back concerning the subject of heating a select few pools on the site through a solar system or similair, Does anyone recall this thread or have any views on this subject, I think it would make good sense to have this facility for the winter months and would be a very small cost if limited to a small number of pools, perhaps even if the new club house when built had such a facility at a minimal cost to users, I would certainly be willing to pay for such a facility??? Any thoughts

I suggested a couple of heated pools for the Jardines say, one in J4 and anoher around J9 but not many took up on the idea. One lady said she wouldn't be happy with 'noisy' pool heating equipment in her garden. I do, however, think that the benefit would far outweigh the negatives and that solar heating would be very quiet. I think it's a brilliant idea and would support this all the way. Arlene (Currently in Condado and the pools are not very warm at all !!!!)

Just to put the record straight, I went in twice, sober both times, and no wet suit. First time late afternoon, not too bad, second time, about 11.00am, it was freezing!!! - I lasted 2 lengths!! Definately suggest you wait til the afternoon, when the sun has had a chance to warm the pool a bit! Place is looking fantastic, but still not convinced the course will open in November.

But it will be great for you and all the other owners if it does
Other golf developments not far away have mothballed the courses [& properties] because of the credit crunch and ,from all the posts on this forum, all the owners do seem very happy with their purchase
Whilst there are some good deals now at Condado.[ 3 bed GF at circa 100k €] it does have the making of a very good Resort ........which will benefit when the world moves out of recession and ' circa 5/8 years 'in to the start of a new mini boom for homes on Resorts like Condado and in Spain
So now enjoy your home in Condado and the life style.......in due course the projections are that you will look back and find that you made a good buy
