Because of the number of queries I thought that it woudl be better to put this under a new thread especially as fairly soon we will start testing these systems in some Mentas and villas and be able to supply manuals
Regarding the law the regulation in Murcia came into effect on a certain date and has been challenged by some buyers of Tilos and Laurels and proven, to lawyers, that the license dates are outside the agreement so these systems do not have to be fitted
They also would be checking the regulations before granting the Certificate of Habitation
Another good example is on RODA where the last phadse of Villas and apartmemnts on phase 3 have solar water heating
On Menta´s, Magnolia, Olma, and Nolga villas there are systems supplying solar heated water with visible solar panels and tanks on roofs
In order to comply with the regulations the developers only normally install the minimum specification on systems, in villas solar panels with a storage tank per property
My understanding is, still to be verified, that on the Menta´s there are panels and shared water tanks and below the boiler a solar control system witha servies of valves that check the temperature of the incoming water, through a control valve, and then route this directly around the home system or through the boiler
Obviously if it is a shared tank to use a term he who dares wins, perhaps an early shower is the way to save money
You can adjust the temperature of the water ouput using the thermostat setting on the front of the boiler
I also understand that the central heating system, again gas boiler based, is seperate to thisbut again please bear with me as I have no fully working systems yet that I can check
