Hi everyone

We missed a couple of calls from Spain last week and were wondering what was up??  However yesterday Elena finally caught up with me and what she wanted was to see if we were interested in the new discount card.

I signed up straight away, only took 5 minutes, and she emailed me my membership number the same day.  Her phone number is 0034968220551, and she works between 9am and 2pm if anyone wants to give her a ring.

 just to agree with phil and others that the restaurant is very good, ate there twice and the food and service are very good,

we ate on saturday night on the red and white table cloths, they are quality not like the plastic ones you get in a benidorm cafe

and as phil said, they do change them, so by monday evening half were green and half were black, no red and white 

lets just hope they never use black and white. wish i had a polaris card though,

What time do the restraunt and supermarket close, will be over about nine on monday

Quick question on the Polaris card (which has probably been anwered somewhere before). Is the golf discount 20% off the residents or even promotional rate or do they insist it's 20% off the standard green fee?

Edit: Sorry scrap that, just found the answer on another thread. The discount is off the standard green fee so doesn't that make it cheaper to pay the residents rate?

20% off standard green fee. Does not apply to any offers and resident discount is classed as an offer.

that's true as I found out last week when at El Valle and wanted to use my 50% off voucher. Std green fee is 80euro so 50% off would have been 40euro to play. Offer on was 2 plus buggy (and buggy was not available) for 90 euro or 45 each, so discount would have been 5 euro !!!! That in my opiniion is a bit of a con and is not clear in the literature - if it says 50% (or for that matter 20%) off the green it should be off the price you are paying - so be aware. Of course it has value if there are no offers on but the offers do seem to be quite frequent.

In the end because we were teeing off at 1.30 we took the twilight green fee and a 2pm tee off for 30 euro and got ((just) the 18 holes played.

Was seriously disappointed our own course was not open but roll on February when I'm next there !
