WORRIED!

The 4 star hotel at Serena Golf was closed howvever it has recently been re openned

When i was looking at buying here I found this

it seems to be like they had planned the commercial centre for 2008 so what went wrong?

global recession may have something to do with it.

or even possibly lies told by developers and agents  ...... ( but estate agents  and spanish property developers wouldnt

 do that ...........   would they ? ) 

The beach club was built for 2008 despite the global downturn. 

Given that the first phase of the commercial centre was meant to satisfy the needs of owners and the fact that Calidona itself has a rental business.  Wouldn't it have made sense to subsidise the rent on the commercial centre units for the interim?  Either they want to develop a succesful business model or not and by not providing such facilities its letting everyone down badly and also would put potential buyers of later phases off. 

To make it more attractive to short-term and holiday lets you need to have these things. By attracting more people over it may also mean that the beach club might be utilised more and not simply shut down for the vast majority of the year.

I think the title Roda Golf and Beach Resort might have had something to do with this. That and the fact it was some minister's beach club before and just needed renovating. From all these threads at the moment, something is going on, I just wish I knew what it was.

What about Corvera Golf and Country Club? 

I understand that there are 2 bicyles for hire on site at this resort - perhaps the minister left them there.  There are also a few outside courts - on this basis my local park is a five star council run leisure resort - only with less dog s***e.

Something is going on - I believe that there has been a restructuring of Calidona.
