We are block 14 and have not been transferred over yet. Still waiting on getting Iberdrola sorted - they keep cutting us off!

Thanks for the feedback,
We also had some problems with Iberdrola in that Polaris never setup the direct debit correctly as a result we were close to being disconnected without our knowledge. Luckily I was able to set it up over the phone but notice now that no payment has been taken in Nov so I need to check again by phone that all is ok.
We regards to the Water, my worry is that Polaris will mess this up as well so I’m watching closely!

Hi, we are also in block 14 and our key holders tell us that our water is still not connected and Polaris said we will be on their supply until this happens. I too am concerned that they muck this up because after trying to sort out our electricity meter since last March, we have now (after several phone calls) been told by Iberdrola that our meter was connected in September and our supply was cut off in October because we didn't pay the bills.
Aaaaaaaaaaaagghh...................... we have not had any bills and after another load of phone calls have found out that they have us down in apartment 38 instead of 14. They also told us that this is the information they got from the town hall and is what is against our NIE number. They also do not have any bank details for us even although we completed all the paperwork and Polaris assured us this had been passed to the utilities company. The plot thickens..............to get our electricity reconnected we have to pay the outstanding amount 248€, get access to check our meter number, and if the meter is not allocated to us we need to tell them our meter number (yes the one they connected) and they will arrange for refunds if relevant.
What a mess!!
We now need to pay a visit to the town hall next time we are out to check they have our correct address for IBI payments.
We know apartment 38 does not exist in the penthouses but if there is an apartment 38 anywhere else on the complex, please let me know if you are having similar problems as we may be paying for your electricity and visa versa.

Interesting….but you may need to be careful. The numbering of the apartments is not what you think as we found out. Please check your Habitation Cert which has the address, number, block and floor address within. This is what they use to determine the connection details for the meters. I connected in Oct only after spending a few weeks trying to work out my proper address!!
I would be interested to here what address you have!! As my address was completely different to what I thought!

We are also block 14. Water not transferred over yet. We also had problems with Iberdrola but finally managed to get sorted in January. Polaris/Iberdrola were adamant they had fitted our meter in October but alas they hadn't. Another apartment had also received documentation in our names - complete mix-up.
Me thinks the Iberdrola engineer must have had a particularly good menu del dia the day he visited block 14!!!

Something further,
My understanding is that this number “38” is actually the building number and should be on your cert. It is a bit confusing but the they appear to have numbered the amount of blocks in this manner and that is only my guess. This is different to our understanding of the building numbers so Penthouse 14 is actually block 38 in building terms. Note: the postal address is different and falls back in line with what we think it is. This may explain the confusion over the address for connection and why the town house know this building as block 38 not 14! As I eluded earlier it should be shown on your Habitation Cert. Let me know if this is correct as this is only my understanding from my information.

Thanks, now have copy of habitation certificate and we are No 38. I think the problem is Iberdrola have us in 2B but we are actually 2E so once I check my meter number this should confirm everything. Just hoping my refund is as forthcoming as their enthusiasm to turn off my electricity.

Guys
Does anybody have any update on the water for the frontline penthouses? We are still on builders supply like many more but Polaris are about to fold by all accounts and we are over on the 28th for 10 days with 2 small kids!
This is starting to potentially look like a disaster. What is the result of the meeting last month and how can we be assured that water will remain after tomorrow?

looked on the Condado site, a post dated today say's meeting / inspection took place and will know in a few weeks, if ok I guess then they will start to arrange meter connections. Hopefully we don't get cut off in the mean time, as we are out 30th April with my parents. Fingers and toes crossed. Sorry have no more info than that.

Read a post on other forum and that reminded me of this query- for verbatum you should check other forum but basically saying certificates will be issued in about 3 weeks and meters a week or so after that but if PW becomes insolvent tomorrow it is uncertain if the water supply will remain on until the meters are fitted.
Once things are more clear tomorrow I suggest a call to customer services if nothing else and to water company to confirm process. Though if all is okay with PW tomorrow, as regards to them still owning essential parts of CdA, then all will be well.
