Heavy Rains and Flooding

Hi Everyone,

Just received an email from Keymare warning about the heavy rains and possible flooding and advising about preventive measures to avoid property damages etc.  Does anyone know how we are fixed at Veranda and is there anything to worry about?

Hi Gerrys, we were told to make sure the drains on our terrace were always checked and kept clear, or they can get blocked and cause problems in the heavy rains.

Other than that we cant offer any advise.

Hi all, we received the same email too from keymare, therefore we contacted our keyholder  who is going to check the apartment and the area out for us will let you know what he says when he gets back to me

Hi all

Many of us have Keymare owned properties above us. Looking at the dead plants on the terrace of the show flat above ours, one wonders if they have checked their drains. Water may cascade down to the apartments below.

We will reply to the Keymare email and ask them.

Hi all,just been informed today that our apartment is ok and no water damage we are in block 2

there has been water damage to some apartments, if you email or phone Jose he has been checking apartments for free when people have contacted him.

Our keyholder has informed us that none of the apartments he looks after have any damage due to the heavy rains.

Hi All, we heard from our keyholder , fortunately ok, our keyholder looks after a few apartments on the complex and said that everybody was ok, not so lucky as some on other complexes who had to have the fire brigade to pump out water from their car park, hope thats the end of the bad weather
