Hi All ,

Just back from AG between 27 and 7th Jul, weather far,far to hot 35 plus everyday with a little cloud and humidity on a couple of the days ,for those of you who have not been out when very high temps and humidity ,not a very nice experience.Anyway to let you know a few new photos added, and a few comments below...let me know what you think.

1.Lets start with clubhouse.

The clubhouse continues to make very steady progress,i realise some things take longer than other things, but trust me there are very few bodies working on the site .and i observed every day, dont get me wrong it will open, but i personnaly feel at least another 6 to 8 weeks.

2.Tennis courts and Paddle Courts.

2 Tennis courts are now complete, also 3 Paddle courts comple, they are not open as yet,i get the immpresion courts, and clubhouse will open together, the finishing off around the courts has not been completed .leaving a feeling of looks ok but not finished off, this also confirms lack of manpower on the the whole development ( i shall come to our increased community / Mancommunity/EUC fees later ,no doubt you are all paying them.

3.Tropical Garden.

Has been tendered in a very small way ,but still litter and dog mess everywere, not open yet./park not open, but you wouldnt want to walk or let your kids play there, god knows what they would pick up,its a dog mess and rubbish tip

4.Golf Course.

9 holes on phase 4 are open, rest of course ready and being looked after but not open, again i feel the owners/Cajasur may be looking to open things together ( plenty of rakes about now for the bunkers)

5.Roads and Trees.

We are now paying so much money to various soures,ie,Community,Mancommunity,EUC,local council,Refuge, you would think the development would be superb,my next stop is to put a lengthy e :mail to our administrators, asking them to justify all this cost, trust me the roads, paths, tree which border the roads ,are a mess, there are no staff tending these areas,

6.Free Golf / Oliverson.

The more i see at AG and the monies which we pay ,i now believe owners that are up to date with all there fees should have free golf / free tennis and free paddle court use,i know the payment of golf is low 4 and 5 euros ,my moan is every apartment is paying out approx 100 euros per year anyway to pay for the upkeep of the grass cutting, lets be fare there is very little else to do on the course apart from cut the grass as the landscaping is minimal.

7.What do you think about the community ,mancommunity charges etc ...i am now paying 4 ammounts per month

57.77 euros community .... 8.35 euros / gargae space ......... 13.95 euros /mancommunity fees ......... 7 euros EUC

Total 87.07 euros per month / 1.044 euros per year  , i would not think this were excesive if there were plenty of staff sorting out the above ,but trust me me there is hardly a sole about.( this dosent include council and refuge charges which ammount to in toatl approx 600 euros per year

Take care

Great update Samste, thanks.

Can you please advise on the location of the second tennis court?  I don't recognise that plot at all.

As for fees I agree it's all getting a bit silly.  Ultimately though it's far less than most people's council tax in Britain!

I'm not sure about the clubhouse opening anytime soon.  Don't forget that the workers down tools for the entire month of August.  I'm tipping it, and the remaining holes/driving range, will open sometime towards the end of September when the high-season for golf over there kicks in.

Very much looking forward to a beer at said clubhouse though.

Hi All.

1.Re Location of tennis courts, there is one tennis and one paddle court on the piece of land on phase 3 ,there is also 3 golf holes on this piece of land, the second tennis court is behind the clubhouse and to the left ,there is also 3 holes on this piece of land.

2.I am not so much complaining about the costs,my moan is who is doing what, from minutes of our meeting ,phase 3 ,i read that the council was supposed to be doing the cleaning of the roads, paths,we are paying monies to them,we are paying monies to a company who are supposedly looking after the cleaning and maintainance of the tropical garden,on evidence the cleaaning of the development is shocking and for the monies we are paying it should be much better.

3.Re clubhouse, golf etc.i hear what you say re construction coming to a halt in August, does this mean electricians, decorators, etc if it does include these trades then i also think it will be more like September before it all opens

so here we are in October folks and no sign that the club house is going to be opened anytime soon - looks like being next year when we get to enjoy our first beer on the club house terrace.  Ah well it's been 6 years so far so what's another 6 months?

Just a quick update having returned from a weekend at AG (a weekend of 22 degrees C. of glorious sunshine).

Clubhouse is looking great.  Construction seems complete and is now awaiting fixtures and fittings.

Golf course and driving range receiving moderate use.  There's actually a weekly (Sunday) competition on the course now.

Tennis courts receiving similar usage as is the Park area.  Penny is dropping and dog owners now seem to be largely cleaning up after their pets.

A slight downer and only to be expected I suppose given the current economic climate and the time of year but the resort was very quite, possibly the quietest I've ever seen it but then again I don't usually visit at this time of year.

Onwards and upwards.
