Reasons to vote NO

I have cast no dispersions - I have stated a fact. If HdT are giving out personal information to you or any other third party  - that breaches Data Protection Law.  Everyone wants a positive outcome and people have different views on how to achieve this.  I have stated my opinion and others have stated theirs - that's adult debate which is what these forums are for. SARC seem to have taken their canvassing for HdT to another level and I find that alarming.

As stated, I have no direct interest in the outcome any more - although I wish everyone well and will continue to follow the journey. What may affect me is the Data Protection issue.  What else have HdT disclosed? and to whom?  For someone working in the NHS I am surprised that you were not more careful in being involved in this Data.  There are very few legitimate reasons when this Law can safely be breached. Canvassing for votes will not be one of them!  In your line of work this could have implications on your professional career.

I have never hidden behind a user name - my name is Tracey and I  sign off as such.  If you look on the registration part of EOS you will see that I have been a member of this forum since November 2005- long before adminstration.

By resorting to personal remarks to anyone who disagrees with your view, rather than a compelling debate, shows your lack of substance and inability to articulate well.

I wish everyone what they deserve

Edited to add: I am concerned about older purchasers.  They have even more to lose if HdT continues as they will have to waste 4 or 5 more years of their life nervously waiting for the outcome.  There have already been purchasers who have sadly passed away waiting for their house.  Let them all get what they can now and move on.....

                     Let me reasure you and everyone else that no breach of confidentiality was involved we did not send out the email but asked if HDT could on our behalf we did not ask for anyones email adresses and only have email adresses for those that have emailed us in responce to our letter.

As for proposed timescales they are quoted these times so that if they encounter any delay they will still be able to complete project. Properties may well be completed before the dates in the proposal

San Jose state that they do not need to buy the shepherds land as it is outside phase 1.

They also state that they plan to finish SADM as the original plan so they will need to buy this land at some stage, looks likely a long legal battle will have to be undertaken.

Below is just a thought for all those who want their house.

How will you feel after paying top price for your house that San Jose are then selling the remaining plots to new purchasers at a much lower price, which will be around 25% less, this they will have to do to attract buyers in a falling market, because you can buy the same house type much nearer the coast for the same money as full price at SADM.

Purchasers have until the completion of their property to decide if they wish to take the 65% refund or to complete on their purchase.

What happens if all the houses are built & then no one wants to complete ?

I cannot see any bank willing to fund the continuation with this clause in the contract.
