Here's my analysis of the Valor review for my  typical 2 bed 2 bath.

I just hope this revision in Valor Catastral applies to every building in Manilva.  Then the percentage applied will go down to collect the same total tax.

John,

 Town hall was closed for public holiday and so was foreigners office. (In any case the foreigners office said they could not assist.)
 
From the details I have now received from Paul (See the website below) it looks as though it is the Cadestral values that are much too high.
 
I think it will be necessary to ask the Patronato office to examine the values and I feel I will need at least 5/6 values for the later part of the development before I can proceed.

Would appreciate if anyone in blocks 1 & 2 ( or others in phase 1) who has an IBI bill over € 460 can send details by private message of their Cadestral values

I have finally had a response from my Spanish lawyer regarding the disparity in the IBI bills :-

It is our considered opinion that it is not worth trying to claim  (dispute) this value.  Our litigation department believes that it is long time and with no positive result.

If any one has a solcitor or someone who speaks Spanish and is willing to take the matter of this huge difference in the values up with the Patronato office and to ask them to reexamine the values I would be interested
