Hi All

Just got back from spain, Seen our solicitors she said it looked  like the appartment will  be ready late March or early  April,

Went out there to  have a look around, Block 4 is not ready yet , Some of the appartment still need the bathroom putting in,  the doors are not on some appartments , the corridor still need lights putting in,

I did find out , we all have under ground parking

And the Brisas Del Mal Appartment are all sold

Do you know if  other blocks  have an underground parking space? Is yours included in the price you paid or did you pay extra? I am buying in block 2 and when i was there a couple of weeks ago a spanish man showed me the underground parking and said `you have one` his english was not very good so i just thought he had got it wrong and as my spanish is very poor i could not question him about his comment.

Hope the weather was good for you it was terrible when we went.

No we did not know we had underground parking, And yes its for all 5 blocks, Its all the way along (open) But there is 5 sets of stair to go to each block

And we stay in Guardamar the wether very nice went a walk down the beach on saturday

I doubt if the parking applies to Block 1 as those with ground floor apartments have basements.  I have always imagined that we have to park in the road.

Sorry all i can say we went into Block 5 down a ramp and walk along to block 4 i look down to the other block and its look like

you could go all the way down, But i did not go that far so cant say for shaw

Thanks for the info Brenda,  Block 1 seems to be arranged a little differently to the other blocks, although we have never seen a plan other than Block 1, but the general apartment layout seems to be fairly common with mostly 2 bed / 2 bath units.  Ours on the ground floor only has one bath and a staircase taking the space for the other bathroom down to a basement which is actually slightly larger then the apartment itself.  Hence, no undergroung car parking spaces for us, but it's a trade-off I guess.

We have seen on another site that Block 1 is due now to  be ready for handover mid-May.  If that works out our original estimate of 5-6 months behind will be realised.  From the photographs we have seen, the quality looks quite good, although we notice that the floor tiles are an almost orange colour which we asked about specifically and were told ours would be cream, but I guess we will have to wait and see about that too!

Anyhow, great photo's for which we are duly grateful as circumstances have decreed that we have been unable to get over since last March.  We have been avidly following every new picture to help give us some idea of what we are able to expect, so for all your efforts, thanks again.
