The 2012 prices are as follows

Residents

18 holes 45e   9 holes 29e   twilight ( from 2pm) 30e

also you can buy  a 4 round voucher valid for 1 month for 168 e 

and even better news the one i hoped for a 10 round voucher valid 2 months  for 380e 

a buggy is now 25 e and 20 e in twilight

Non residents is 65e  18 holes and 35e twilight, (this is an excellent deal for non residents imho).

I can arrange cheaper prices for guests. pm me  if required.

 This is a different Global Golf I am sure.  This is the problem, there are quite a few Global Golf companies out there.  Which one, and what exactly are we getting?  Surely there must be some consultation between Mileniun and proposed Golf Course Management.  It is only common courtesy and good customer service for any new management company to prepare and publish a statement of intent.  It is in their interest as much as ours to keep us informed.  After all they are on our resort and any plans they have will have a direct impact on us all.

Don't know if this is anything to do with Global Golf?  This is where I end up using the prviously suggested link from georgeh.  Don't see any mention of Global golf on this site.

Just to let everyone know that society golf rates are only excepted on Mon , Weds and friday and not anytime of the week as someone said on this post , I played Golf today and was charged 45 euros not the 40 euro society rate , I wish people would not come on eye on spain with info that is B- - - - - Ks ,

The committee are meeting with Global golf this wk,  let them do there job , they know what there doing

 The 40 e daily rate for society members was available till 1st jan 2012 when it was cancelled. Now available only mon, wed and fri. 45 e other days.

There have been a few staff changes with 2 marshalls a day now being deployed. The grass on the fairways is brown but that is normal in spain for winter months . The greens are exceptionally fast and the course is  in excellent condition for which we must thank the excellent greens staff.

Some really positive news on this thread.Really reasonable residents rates on the golf and good news if guests can enjoy some discountsas my dad uses my place more than I get too. I havnt been out since Aug 2011 as been working overseas. Coming out in Feb next. I wondered if the areas of rough around the golf course have matured as yet. I spoke with one of the groundsman last year who said the soil is very different to La Torre by comparison which frustrates growth. Temp clubhouse looming is also positive news, I appreciate some residents concern of having a second hand shed as a clubhouse but I think it would be nice to have something rather than a huge expanse of dirt that we have suffered for the last 4+ years.Better something than nothing and given the current climate I am suprised we are getting anything.

After our meeting today we are NOT getting the shed from Hacienda Requelme. It WILL be the glass sales office.

 Instead of a garden shed we shall have a greenhouse.  Global Golf are shooting for the stars.

 Great news for golf renters, i have secured an excellent deal today with global golf who now run condado de alhama golf. If any of your renters wants a really good deal plus tee times and buggies booked please let me know by pm.

In the absence of any money being made available I can see that whoever now owns/manages the golf course would want to recycle other buildings. I think most people really dont realise how little money is now available and how companies will look at other ways of meeting needs. Of the 3 options rumoured so far I prefer the old glass sales office. Hopefully it would be refurbished, it has large glass windows for any small cafe area to be able to have views over the course and then there's a big balcony. When we first saw this building it wasn't a building I thought was awful, though its now stood empty for several years and will need work- it had wc's but no showers anyway. Anyway fingers crossed this one is the choice and that some improvements can be made to landscape/tidy up the area around it

I'm just hoping we get something with some landscaping as with nothing CdA is disappointing for visiting golfers and its sad they have to sit outside the supermarket with drinks and food and can't have a quick wash up after a game. Whilst the new Condao Club is a good option and is always availabe it is a fair trot from the course. So here's hoping finally we have some progress.
