Horel/Area Recommendation

Hi Folks,

My family will be in Roda for all of July, but at some point we are thinking of getting away for a couple of days to a nice Hotel in another town, just for a change of scene and to break up the stay.

I was looking at Mojarcar in Almeria, but Hotels are all booked up(already!).

Any recommendations. I have 3 kids under 9.

We like to go to the Intercontinental in either Mar Menor resort or La Torre for total relaxation. I know it's not far to go, but we tend to use 5* hotels mainly & there is not that much choice around. Others we like are:

La Manga hotel

Las Arenas (on the beach in Valencia)

Desert Springs resort (near Vera, Almeria)

We are going to Jerez next week to sample the sherry (again). Fabulous 4* hotel, which we have stayed at before, for only £30 per night  (with 12% cashback on top!!).
