Hi All
On Monday night l looked at trying to book flights from Liverpool to SJ for April 2012, but there's still nothing up on the RA website. Has anyone else heard when they might be announcing if/when they're re-commencing flights again?
Thanks.

To be honest l'm not sure l'm any the wiser after reading that little lot, but l enjoyed the spat halfway through! Looks like we'll have to cross our fingers and wait until later this month. Beginning to think the sooner Corvera opens the better - at least we might have a little more certainty.

I think that is the point, no one seems to be any the wiser as Ryanair are not saying, maybe they want to keep it a surprise.
I too was looking at flights for next May and have been very surprised that first they were on then they were off. Mind you with the amount of legal cases and spats Ryanair has with Spanish airports are we totally surprised.

Very interesting update has just been posted to the thread hugh_man mentioned below. Corvera starting in time for Summer 2012 seems as uncertain as ever. As does me ever booking my flights..............................

Jet2 have flights on for SJ right through to September.
Booked some for my mum but fully expecting that they might get cancelled at some point

There's an article on the ThinkSpain website about RyanAir's new, higher charges for checked-in luggage, admin fees etc coming into force on 15 December. So it looks like they've pulled the timetable until then so that they can immediately charge the new rates.

seems jet2 are the only ones taking new bookings beyond march. I guess this will get cleared up in jan. I dislike RA as much as anyone but i can imagine the confusion and mayhem coming from the murcian authorities, so this may not be their fault.
If they had any sense they would be bending over backwards to keep RA happy and keeping jan javier open for certain for the summer season
All the uncertainty is costing them tourism. maybe there distracted with the plans for the entertainment park ;-)
