I have just been in touch with a2z about internet tv and phone they are quoting 77 euro for the modem and 186 euro for the tv equipment We have bought a tv with built in dvb-c and was under the impresion we didnt need a digi box can anyone advise what we need

Just plug co-ax cable into TV outlet socket on wall (not cable outlet) and then into back of TV. The inbuilt tuner in your TV must be the DVB-C type and not a DVB-T though.

Thats what we have been told. You just need to plug the tv in via the aerial socket and digitally tune it.

so do i just email them and tell them i want phone tv and internet but no equipment apart from their modem

 You dont need the phone, once you are set up on the internet, download Skype you can talk to any one who is also a Skype subscriber for free! also they do a package where you can ring any landline in Europe no time restrictions for 5€ a month

Just order the internet with the basic modem. You can upgrade to wifi later if you want. You do not need to order anything for the TV. I think you will find if you also order the phone they will want to charge you 30 odd euro to connect the line plus cost of a phone (although you could buy the phone elsewhere).

Just thinking. I have skype on my home computer in the uk. I have just been connected to the internet on CDA with wifi. I shall take a  new laptop over next, Question is:- can I download skype onto this new laptop with a different ( new) email address and password so I can skype my computer at home. This may sound  stupid  but my daughter uses my skype at home and will I then beable to Skype her and other friends and relatives. HELP

 Yep no probelm, just create a new Skype account on the new laptop and away you go :-)

I once created a skype account for the kids so I could ring my laptop from the upstairs PC and make sure they were watching TV and behaving themselves.

Probably it has never worked, we went home the same day they are linked into it.
I have tried to get hold of them, but they do not respond, maybe I have the wrong address
