I am visiting the complex in a few weeks for a viewing with a mind to buy a property. My major concern is that there is only one bar and resturant on site. Can anyone tell how well it is used and do there appear to be plans for other bars and resturants in the commerical area? Also how far do you have to travel to get a good variety of places to drink and eat and get some entertainment? Do you have to drive or is it a taxi ride for instance. Many thanks and I am looking forward to having my online viewing enhanced and confirmed by a visit and enjoying the place as much as you all do.  Thanks Paul

Hi Coppolas is normally quietish but should pick up as more apartments are sold, The old buildings are expected to become a Tapas bar and the new golf clubhouse. La Torre is a couple of mile away and has a number of bars and restaurants. there are two towns close by, 1 hour walk or ten minutes in the car. Roldan and Balsicus both have a variety of bars and restaurants. Amigos in  Roldan is an ex pat bar with Sky sports and cheap food and drink. El Tiempo is a very nice Spanish bar on the crossroads. five minutes drive from La Terrazas towards Balsicus is an industral estate with two good Indian restaurants a chinese and a sports bar.

There is a great community spririt I wouldnt let the lack of ammenities at this point put you off - we are on las isla and we have had a great few get togethers with neighbours etc. Yes you need a car but there are restaurants that will pick you up by minibus from your front door and bring you back again. It all really depends on what you want facilities wise.

Do you have a list of the restaurants that will pick you up? I know the Jaipur will, but don't know of any others...
