Hi
The apartments are really good value for the money and build quality is impressive.
I own on the Spanish Village.
Have you ever been to HDA?
As to the flight path as someone has just mentioned. Maybe they know something that nobody else does??????
The new airport if it ever opens will be an asset to HDA as it will only be a 10-15 min drive away and will hopefully bring more tourism to HDA....even if planes are flying over us.
HDA is a large, beautiful resort, why not come visit it.

Hi Paul I have been to HDA many times I was on the resort 2 weeks ago, I think I have been to all the golf resort developments over the last 10 years and HDA is up there with best, the build of the properties is very good ( unlike some resorts ) nice golf course it's nice & quiet just how I like it, a couple of bars what more could I wish for. These Oasis properties look very good value for money, just a negative on them it will be years before they all get sold. I think there was over 300 of them for sale. But worth a punt.

Hey newworld
So glad you agree with me that HDA is up there as being one of the more desirable golf courses.
We too looked for around 8 years but never found anything for our budget and what we did were in poor condition or too expensive eg Condado were mouldy and small. Mar Menor were lovely but too expensive, La Torre just didnt appeal, etc etc
We too agree HDA is pieceful and we were slightly worried when we purchased our apartment that we would be stuck with no neighbours for years and years (which we actually wouldnt mind) however I believe 90% of these are now sold (hence releasing the Oasis) and we do have neighbours but due to it being a holiday home only see them if we are both out at the same time.
The Oasis apartments look really good value for the money and I would hope they get snapped up at the price they have been released at.
Me personally, I would risk investing in one as its not a great deal of money, but you would own an absolute bargain priced apartment on an exclusive golf resort which in years ahead will hopefully become more popular, the hotel will open and it will be a vibrant buzzing resort....and guess what...you will own a little piece of this and because you bought at the right time you may hopefully be sitting on something which is worth double what you paid.
Then again, I may be totally wrong but you will still own your own little piece of spain and be happy having many holidays there year after year.
I hope you make the right decision and hopefully one day see you on resort for a thirst quenching beer to toast u buying on HDA.
Good luck x

I haven't seen inside one of these aprtments but we do own a property on HDA.
On the face of it they do appear to be great value. I am unsure of the communal fees though which could potentially be quite a lump as it is billed as a 'resort within a resort'. The upkeep of the exclusive facilites will therefore, likely be the responsibility of owners within 'The Oasis' community. It would be worth clarifying these fees in comparison to fees across the rest of the resort as if you aren't looking to use these facilities specifically then it my be worth looking elsewhere on the resort, spending a bit more upfront but then not committing yourself to the ongoing annual fees if indeed they are higher.
As far as HDA goes, we bought here last year and have managed to get out a few times. Each time we have been out it is busier and there are more properties sold than the last time. It is by no means busy, which at the moment suits us down to the ground. It offered us what we were looking for at a price that we felt was fantastic value when compared to other resorts of a similar quality nearby. We bought knowing what facilities were currently on site in the knowledge that these could improve or diminish, that is the risk that you take with this sort of purchase. It may be that the hotel opens, the spanish village fills up with shops etc. and eventually the airport starts flights. If this is the case then great, if not then so be it.
If you are considering buying then buy with the mindset that if it is right for you and it is in budget and you are happy with the resort as it is then go for it, like us. Otherwise you may be dissappointed if you are buying in the hope that things will change quickly. It is Spain and everything happens a lot slower (if at all).
The golf, sports facilities and the upkeep of the resort are excellent.
Yes, the resort was hit by the financial crisis but it has ridden it out and is in great shape to go from strength to strength. It has certainly fared considerably better than other resorts in the region without naming any specifically for fear of upsetting anyone who may own on those resorts.
A fair representation of HDA in my opinion.

Hi Shon
I own on HDA in the Spanish Village.
I havnt been in any of the Oasis apartments but I can confirm the build quality on HDA is top class and the Resort is definitely getting busier. A new tapas bar opened a few weeks ago in the Spanish Village which is absolutely great.
When I was looking to buy I couldnt find much information about the resort, hence me replying and trying to help on here.
They are selling some of the Oasis off at a great price which I was told are selling.
I wish you well in your decision :)

Thanks so much, the positive news about the resort certainly helps.
You are certainly right that finding information about the resort, and Oasis specifically, is quite difficult. But the units certainly seem good quality and the resort has a great reputation.
Thanks so much again,
Shon

Hi
We have just purchased an Oasis apartment. Going for our first holiday there in a weeks time. We found the process very easy and Cornelis who works at HDA and om behalf of the bank is very helpful.
The apartments are very high spec and pretty much ready to move into as all have white goods and air con.
Thanks
Melanie

Hi Melanie,
Congratulations! We are are also in the process with Cornelis, and it is going well. I have been searching on line for a forum for Oasis owners. Hopefully, with more owners, we can get a Facebook group page going soon.
Enjoy your new holiday home!

Congratulations!
I think a Facebook group page would be fantastic as well.
Let's share as much as we can as it will be great to know some of the other (soon-to-be) owners like ourselves. Currently looking for a keyholder and furniture pack companies....
