Dear all,
we have booked an apartment in oasis, in hacienda alamo .
we are just wondering if anyone can share a knowledge about the facilites in this compound Oasis.
it seems, that it is 300 apartments, sharing the small pools. And are the pools and facilties within this apartments is also shared to the neighbouring community? Spanish pueblo, village"? We think it is too much for two communities to share this pools and not knowing who is coming and going...
the community fees are not cheap either, but we are willing to payy if they deliver.
We are looking , for a bit quite, not so crowded, controlled and safety, and a bit exclusive community. Is there a plan to put a guard even just for during a day time?
We are concerned about the over sharing of pools to the others other than residents. In oasis. etc. and it seems so small in size and need some fixing and improvement.the decks are dangerous.
we hope to hear honest , unbiased information, Not meant to offend anyone, but just to gain more knowledge about the big decision we will make.
thank you so much for your kind response, 🌹

Katmon you say refundable deposit, I don't know who has you deposit if it is the agent or the selling bank or both have taken money from you but it is Altamira, good luck trying to get it back if you need to,because I have been fighting with them for a few months to get my 3k back, and if you pullout your on your own with fight, because the agents have no interest in helping you, there is no commission for them, so they are off. Hopefully you will like the property and will have no need to get your deposit back.

Hi,
i think, its better you see it personally yourself, and ask the community adminstrator about the informations.
also, your solicitor can ask for a copy of the old community minutes and check the Bilaws of the community.
Check horizontal laws etc.
my brother owns there, ( villa) and as per his knowledge, the Hacienda alamo, has different communities and different management.
when buying a property, i truly believe to have everything in writing and research everything...
good luck and wish you the best

Dear bluepaul,

We Had to go thru solicitor to get all official infos. from the Official Community administrator and Proel.
To MagicJohnson, yes we managed to get copies of community Bilaws, it was all in Spanish( we had to get the, translated)😬
Its is Very wise to have a solicitor who would really work for you....

There are still people in The Pueblo, who have been sold properties and are on the belief that they have access to the Oasis pools
Owners may want to look at some form of ID card or wristband control system

I have seen this problem with swimming pools & owners who do not want outsides using pools for years, what I would is try and do some sort of deal with Pueblo owners, other wise it will cost Oasis owners more money in the long run, wristband have to be bought and paid for let's say 6 bands per household times that by a few hundred properties and they are not that cheap for good one that are not easily copied, another cost is who polices the wristband on La Torre in the summer months they would employ extra security men to do the patrol round the pools again this will be a cost to oasis owners, in reality you might have a few people at anyone time in the pools from the Pueblo properties and that will be in the summer months, the rest of the year the pools will be empty, and you never know you might enjoy a bit of company from a Pueblo owner when it come to Oct and your sat round your pool on your own. Why do something like a season ticket for the Pueblo could buy for a small fee, that could go towards the upkeep of the pool areas, All as I am saying is get on with you neighbor it will save you money in the long run. And no I do not own a property in the Pueblo but I have seen these issues on golf resorts for the last 10 years. Enjoy.

i wonder why they dont suggest to let them into the other neighbouring pools, such as "olivos" which has 5 working pools and in much better shape than the Oasis. The other villas has community pools are also empty most of the time.
the "" oasis, " pools are in need of serious fixing and repair( we visited)and a number of years the pueblo had used and ejoyed them...i understand they had" verbal" reassurances few years back when the Oasis didnt have owners, but that was before, ...and it was "verbal"
.i think its just very fair and reasonble for the new owners of Oasis to be given a "chance and opportunity" to build their community , improve it and enjoy it for the first time...it seem that community fees are quiet high, its understood to expect some sort of standard . In my obeservation its not fair , that the Oasis" owners are put in this huge pressure to "get along with neighbours" , and help solve other communities situation and problems...
Wristbands cost money but so is everything else in life, ...
i have a property in other resort and believe me i wont mind paying fees as as long as i see results , etc. ( sometimes , its not just about the money for some people)
The Oasis has been billed , as an exclusive resort within a resort, " buyers and new owners expect certain things. "
Althought to be honest, it does need some work right now.

I think, in my opinion : the main things to be resolved are the existing ads, by rentals ( agents and owners) they still mention " oasis" pools as free access to rentals in Spanish village, also some of this agents are still using the same sales pitch. ..( probably not updated ).although iam certain, that a good sales man can focus on the positive things of Spanish village, instead of just "pools" ( some buyers just like the golf views, or just wants to play golf and not really into swimming...) if swimming / pool were their main focus or concern, they would have bought in areas with either a beach, or with an existing pool already. 🤔
I own in "marmenor," i made sure i had an existing pool and can play golf and can just drive out for beaches and so on...
Someone very close to me has a villa in HDA, so i go there sometimes...the spanish village was designed as a "commercial town centre,,," i think they should focus on making it as what its supposed to be "A commercial centre, " it might help to have some events, subsidize on opening a shop and a store of some sort...
Although I heard they would build them a pool, and out of curiousity, i wonder where they would dig a pool, as far as i know there is an underground parking underneath it...🤔
Wristbands? Owners will probably decide on that ,depending on whats going to come about ,
this compound needs some work to reach its full potential, although its a good quality build, the private little pools was a cool concept though.
Have a nice day everyone..

I will start by saying I do understand your frustrations with others accessing Oasis pools as I would be the same. I have a villa and the reason why others can't use the pools within our villa communities is because they are for the villa residents sole use. The signs on our pool gates clearly advise of this. You can't argue that you don't want others accessing your pool and then suggest it's ok that they access others communities pools because they are better maintained and quiet.

Joss,
first of all i will start by saying thank you for your reply and kind thought.
iam not "suggesting" that its "ok" for people to use the others pools for any reason at all.( dont mean to sound that way)
All i was saying was, " i was wondering" - ( pls refer to other post) not "suggesting. "- and talking to agents and seeing things in closer look , talking to owners there makes you kind of wonder...
And yes, you are right, if probably they would write a sign just like yours in your villa, it might help im implementing this New community policy.
lastly, after a long thinking and research etc, I did not pursue buying there....so this ends my post. ( and to code 4 , - i dont think i will get my 1k deposit) which is fine...
have a good day...and all the best.
