Just to let you all know, if you are interested, after much aggravation and numerous telephone calls we have today received all of money back, via Aldea, from Huma. This includes the deposit and two staged payments, 'fraid we did not hold out for interest we just wanted our money!

Good luck to all who can afford to stay with development, if (when) it gets finished I think it will be a fabulous place but we just couldn't leave our funds tied up that long best wishes Andrea 

Could this also be a sign that Huma know its going to go ahead and will now be asking for more money to potential buyers of your house/apartment you have given back..??.

It could be a good sign if refunds are being given. The developer will know something we don't believe me.

It’s apparent that the list of people pulling out has grown over the last couple of months. This means these properties will be re sold............... How / when will they be released ? And one wonders at what price.

There was , at one time, a list of people on a reserve waiting list. 

Going way back 1300 were originally sold out of the 2000.

Also , as you mention, stage payments will be chased by the developer once the go-ahead is given. If demand is there for properties they will want stage payments a.s.a.p. to kick start cash flows.
