Samos

Hi,

can anybody give  me an update on Samos? Purchased there....just wondering when all the development will be finished. Holding  back on completion. Looking to pop over in a couple of weeks.

How are you allowed to hold back on completion?  We have bought on the second phase, tasos, the first phase looks just about finished, we were there last month and it looks lovely, ours should be ready in December, and it looks to be on time.

We moved into Samos last week and  we were very very pleased, everything was great with the appartment, only problem we had was that the water heater did not work, but the workman on site changed it for us in 5 minutes, yes 5 minutes what brilliant service, there is just a couple of small snags for the developer to sort, we had a great week there, the pool was fab, I think the standard of these appartments are very good, we can not wait to go back, in fact we have booked some flights today for early September.

I have not heard anything from you for a while, are you any nearer completion, we have just had a great  boxing day to early Jan holiday there the weather was great.

Can you let me know how the road up to the aparments is getting on, we are on phase two of Coto Real.

We were in Duquesa 26/12 to 3/01 the road at the side of Arenal blocks was still closed and did not seem to be making much headway, just 1 man and a digger, although before we arrived they had been having terrible rainfall and it was quite boggy so I could not see much progress.
You never know as the weather improves and soil dries out they will probably move quicker.
I did read on another thread that there may be a delay due to water and electric services to the Arenal block as they are starting to move in this week but are only going to be on the builders supplies.
With regards to the road in Coto Real itself  they were finishing off the block paving to the paths at the side of the road and it looked very smart,  also there are only two cranes left at the very top so the building must be nearing completion.

We were on site today looking at a couple of apartments.

Can confirm that I was told all work should be finished  on the rear blocks by Summer 08 - heavy work has been completed, only skimming and painting and internal finishing required.

The development is looking very good and it's a front runner with us.

New road is a right mess at the moment, like a third world country, but probably looks worse than what it is.
