Hi, I am on Block 27 and the inspection was yesterday 7th August. I am being told by Keymare the completion can take up to 6 weeks after the inspection, which brings this into September. Am wondering if anyone else havent received their NIE no. I applied back in April through the Spanish Consulate in London and the NIE no was meant to be sent to the lawyers (Martinex Eccevaria). Is anyone else in a similar boat? I have also lately heard that the NIE could also have been sent back to the Spanish Conculate in UK and can then be collected. I have contacted the Spanish Consulate in London and they have told me that they do NOT received any NIE no. I am hearing different stories about NIE no's and wondered if anyone knows or have experienced similar?

if you havent got your number there is not one thing you can do

have you spoken to your solicitors and estate agents?

we are block 26 and no where getting sorted

We are also in block 27 02 so we will be neighbours. Sorry to hear you have not yet received your NIE number. We were in Spain last week and spoke our solicitor he told us that he was still waiting for NIE that were applied for in UK dating back to April, we were going to do ours in the UK but he told us it is taking anything upto 5 months. Check with your solicitor he may have them because you will not be able to complete without your number. The only other option is to do it in Spain this only takes 10-15 days.

I also have no NIE and my apartment is ready in block 13 . I am flying out on the 21st Aug and the Solicitors and most other departments involved only work in the morning in August if at all , so will return home on the 27th still with no NIE.it is very frustrating.
