Buying a spanish car

I've just joined your forum. I put a deposit down on an apartment in October 2005 - weeks before it ground to a halt.

I must be one of the last buyers! I've had all the usual upbeat messages from my agent - MMI Properties - but they've stopped answering my emails now!

I'm going out there in Oct/Nov to make a final decision. I'd love it to go ahead but I've wasted 2 years now and wanted to be able to go out there for 3 months a year etc.

Hi AndyLynnW - I think Turre is a great location. Did you find a new apartment or a resale?

Would appreciate some details and will definitely take a look in Oct/Nov

Well I've had enough of the silent treatment from MMI Properties and have decided today to pull out and get my deposit back!

Nobody seems to be posting on here any more but thought I'd let those still reading it know

I sent an email to MMI Properties Monday 1 Oct morning demanding my deposit back and guess what!

I got a response within hours for the first time in months!!

They are now telling me work will start in 2 weeks but I can have my deposit back if I want.

I can't get out there until the end of Oct anyway but I've seen appartments with a lot more for the money in the area.

I'll now go out there and have a good look before making my final decision.

Either in or very close to Cuevas de Almanzora

Or residencial Norias Blancas just outside Vera
