Hi Everyone. Can somebody whose already completed tell us what potential of power they have in their appartment? We have been asked by the builders to indicate either 4.6kw, 5.75, 6.9 or 9.2kw. builders have said we will need 9.2kw which will cost more and i presume the bills will be more expensive every month? Our solicitor as said 4.6 or 5.75 should be sufficient? Confused please help? Also is there any electricians on sight to wire in the light fittings & and is easy enough to purchase the light fittings there or should we bring a few Argos ones? Also can anyone tell us about the furniture pack? What is the procedure?

We complete on 7th September 2 bed appartment.

Someone please help us!!!

As regards the power supply you are best to get a comment from someone who has got an apartment of the same size,  it definately costs more to have more power available and i very much doubt you will need the full 9.2.  You should factor in if you are going to get additional aircon etc.......(you may have it to all rooms already).  Maria at customer services is the best person to speak to.

We completed a few weeks ago and have just finished the wiring of lights etc.  There is no-one there to do it for you but are lots of adverts for local electricians in the free press if you don't fancy it yourself.  There are loads of lighting shops around in Vera and Garrucha ranging upward from E30 for modern or "spanish" fittings depending upon your taste - there is also an Ikea in Murcia.

The furniture should be there, albiet wrapped up when you get there - all the standard stuff - beds, mattresses and covers, dining room tables and chairs, sofa and coffee table - but no outdoor furniture, knives and forks, pots and pans etc.  The curtains/blinds are up!!

Hope this helps..............

Thanks David. We have a 2 bed 2 bath appartment. We haven't got aircon in all rooms it's not in the 2nd bed, but we will probably have it installed at some point we will probably go for a middle of the road power supply instead of the max. I'm happy to know that the furniture will be present when we complete. However we would have been willing to pay the extra for a sofa bed instead of a normal sofa. If you have the number & e-mail for Maria we would be grateful.

Thanks Steve

I don't have the number - but if you call the Key Mare office in Vera Playa and ask for maria in customer services you should get through.

Apparently there is the ability to swop furniture with the supplier (sofa for sofa bed) but it is supposed to be a bit of a rip off.

Regards

David
