HAVE TODAY SPOKEN TO HEAD OFFICE IN CORDOBA AND ASKED THEM ABOUT THE HOLD UP THERE REPLY WAS EVERY THING IS READY FOR BLOCKS I/2/3/ THEY ARE WAITING FOR A COMPLETION ORDER
THEN CAN INFORM US AS TO WHEN WE CAN SIGN FOR THE HAND OVER OF APARTMENTS HAVE ASKED THEM TO E MAIL COFIRMATION AS SOON AS THEY KNOW A DATE AS IT COULD BE WITHIN DAYS OR WEEKS THEY ARE JUST WAITING FOR THE PHONE CALL AND UNTILL IT COMES CANT TELL US NO MORE INFORMATION

This is where we came in last Jan.
I would hate to put a damper on things but I am sure this was the same situation in Feb 2007.123 finished just waiting for habitation Licence.All Cordoba failed to say was it could be days,weeks or next year.

I don't think anyone will know what is likely to happen in regard to completion of these blocks until the water report has been submitted to and accepted by the local council. It is they who will grant a habitation licence that will enable the release of some blocks or who will say there are other conditions still to be met.

Latest info from PrieneSur sales office:
Since last 3rd of September the New Constructor Company is on site trying to get exactly the times for completion for all the Blocks and Phases. We expect to hear from them soon with news about it. As soon as this happens we will communicate everything to all of you.
Just to let you know that we have already restarted the signing of Deeds in Phases II and III and, also waiting for a document of the Town Hall to carry on with Blocks I, II and III of Phase IV, which have already the Habitation Licence.

With respect, there is work going on on site. We have bought on Phase 4 and are in a rental on Phase 3. Currently work is going on in Blocks 8,9and 10 which over the last three weeks have been being cleared of rubbish. In addition the land in front of Block 8 where the roadside parking will be has been levelled and cleared. Our balcony is opposite Blocks 9&10. w2e have many photos of the activities taking place.As I write this I can hear the noise of the dumper truck loading rubbish onto a skip!
Further down the site work is being done on the blocks across that part of the golf course which faces the front of blocks 2&3. Although it is impossible to see what is being done for the last week the roads have been lined by dusty parked cars . They must belong to the builders as there is nothing else down there . Even the back road to the coast has been closed whilst the broken drains which have held up the release of Blocks 12&3 are repaired.

this morning i have again been on the phone trying to find out about phase four blocks 123 spoke to soyrai she has
informed me that work on the water main will be finished by friday
and we will be sent letter or e-mail giving us one month notice to prepare our final payments for the handover
and the signing should start november i hope this is the end of a long wait as we have been waiting far to long as it is
i asked if the lifts would be working as i know other phases have had a problem but she could not garantee they
would but they are trying to sort this out in time for us to move in

Hi Babe,
Don't bank on the lifts working. We got the keys to our apartment (phase 3) in January and the lifts only started working last week!. We had to haul all of our furniture etc up the stairs to the top floor

Hi Babe,
Julie's right. The lifts only started working last week and we already know of people who have been trapped inside for up to an hour. The lift company have posted a warning on all the lift doors urging people not to use the lifts unless they have a mobile with them as the lifts emergency phone lines are not reliable.
In addition security is a nightmare as some of the entry gates and portals don't lock and even where they do they are often left open.
We've learned a lot during the time we have rented in Phase 3!

Thank you for that we are lucky to be on the first floor in block 2 but even that will be a strugle looks like we will have to pay someone to help us move in
we would be only to glad to do that or one of my son.s will have to come over with us to help but as they are both working it may be a problem maybe someone on site would help we would pay them
lets hope the lifts are workig by the time we are due to move i think i will have to load up the van in order of bedroom and kitchen items first into apatrtment so we can at least sleep and eat as if we have to unloade ourself.s we can take our time over a few days
do you know what the clearence is for the underground parking as we have a high top van and it will be staying in spain for about ten days before returning to u.k.

Hi Babe,
Not sure about the clearance but we didn't think our semi-high top Transit would go through the gate, but as luck would have it there were plenty of parking spaces outside our block. We are back out to our apartment in November so if you want I can measure the height of the underground parking gate entrance as I think they will be the same on phase 3&4.

Hi Babe ,
It occurs to me that if the lifts aren't working and you had some sort of trolley you could at least park outside the block and trolley things up the ramp to the ground floor entrance. You would then only need to carry things from the ground floor to the first floor if the lifts aren't working. Could be useful too if the lifts are working and you are unloading in the car park area.
