Hello to you all! We have just got back from DV - great weather for October - you will all be pleased to hear that the "dog" signs are all in place. All the pools are looking good as are the gardens, gardeners have been seen working every day! We could not actually stay in our apartment - no electrics on yet - but visited on a regular basis at different times and found the security to be ok, the barrier was always manned in the evenings. We to are on the ground floor, but we walked all around the complex and everything seemed to be in order so I dont think there is too much to worry about - hope not anyway, as with no electrics we couldnt put shutters down and our furniture is now in place! leaving was a bit daunting, but fingers crossed...........! Even during the day with the builders working, it was so peaceful I could just have sat on the terrace and let the world go by. Thanks to all who helped with regards to TVs, DVD,s watering systems etc. Actually a local now - been to BIG MATT,s in Sabbi, Carrefour, Leroy Merlins etc. Also found a good furniture warehouse on the industrial estate at Estepona!
Will be back out 12th - 20th November, so would be good to meet up at Beccys - please let me know date and time when convenient.
I expect I shall think of something else to report back on as soon as I leave this thread, but hope to meet us with some of you soon.
